  We are a friendly Finnish family with two young children living in the beautiful Ylläs area in Finnish Lapland. We are looking for a kind and reliable Workawayer who can occasionally help us with childcare and some light household tasks.
  
  We enjoy spending time outdoors, travelling, and meeting people from different cultures. We hope our Workawayer will feel like part of our family while staying with us.
  
  Living in Ylläs offers amazing opportunities to experience Finnish nature. Depending on the season, you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and the spectacular Northern Lights.
  
  We look forward to welcoming you to our home!

  Staying with us is a chance to experience everyday life in Finnish Lapland. We are happy to share our culture, traditions, and lifestyle, whether it’s enjoying a sauna, exploring the outdoors, celebrating local holidays, or simply spending time together as a family.
  
  You’ll also have the opportunity to experience the unique nature of Ylläs, with activities such as skiing, hiking, mountain biking, berry picking, and, in the right season, seeing the Northern Lights. We enjoy learning about other cultures too, and we’d love to hear about yours.

  Arbeit

  We are mainly looking for help with childcare and household tasks. This includes playing with our children, spending time outdoors, and occasionally helping with meals, bedtime routines, or taking care of the baby while we are busy.
  
  We would also appreciate some light household help related to family life, such as tidying up after meals, loading the dishwasher, folding laundry, or keeping shared spaces neat.
  
  The schedule is flexible and depends on our work. We always make sure there is plenty of free time to explore Ylläs and enjoy everything the area has to offer.

  Unterkunft

  You will have your own private bedroom and toilet in our modern log house, which was recently built and is located in the beautiful Ylläs area. You’ll share the rest of the home with our family, including the kitchen, living areas, bathroom, and sauna. We want you to feel comfortable, welcome, and part of our home during your stay.
  
  Vegetarian meals are provided since we are vegetarians. Workawayers are welcome to cook meat for themselves if they wish.

  There is a daily connection to Kolari train station and Kittilä airport. Usually we are also able to pick you up if the bus schedule doesn’t work.
