My name is Tiina, my husbands name is Iivar. We have a grandson Hannes 17 and a grandson Kristo is 11. Our daughter Siiri living on the island as well but in another household. We have a farm on the island of Prangli, in Estonia.
Prangli is a beautiful small island! Our gorgeous and very private sandy beaches are only 500 m away. Distances from Tallinn 25 km. The island is rather remote countryside where time stands still. Volunteers can discover how life used to be 20 or 30 years ago, go hiking or cycling in the forest or enjoy private beaches around the island and go to net-fishing with the host.
We hope to make new friends from around the globe, learn about different cultures, develop our language skills and teach our grandchildren about cultural varieties and try different cuisines.
Sometimes we make trips to the close-by islands and volunteers are welcome to join those boat trips and have a chance to visit the most remote areas in Estonia, also Estonian capital Tallinn.

Arbeit
We need some light assistance around our house and garden, fun loving volunteers who would appreciate the beauty of our place and love interacting with locals. Everyone can choose how they want to help. We are flexible. In return, we would offer 3 meals a day a bed to sleep and just a great experience. We eat a lot of food we grow ourselves or catch from the sea.
We have a hobby farm, we need help tending chickens and sheep, cooking for the family and cleaning inside the house and in the garden. We also grow our own vegetables like potatoes, carrots, herbs etc. We do most of the tasks manually. -

The best way to reach Leppneeme harbor is to take a taxi or Bolt (15 to 25 euros from Tallin city center). Ship timetable you will find - sunlines.ee/en. There's also a possibility to take a bus from Tallinn to Viimsi and then from Viimsi to Leppneeme harbor. So you need to take two different buses. It sounds difficult but it's really not. Web page where you can find all the bus information is - .peatus.ee.
When you arrive to Prangli, I will come to the harbour in my car and pick you to my place.

I stayed with Tiina & her family for eight days on lovely Prangli island! I enyoed staying with them a lot! Work comes in waves, we had some really busy days and some really relaxed ones too. The family was very welcoming and I met a lot of other volunteers as well! Time went by quickly, I would definetly come back!
