  Hi friends! My name is Nico, and I’ve decided to create a hostel in the heart of downtown San Luis Potosí, thinking about backpackers who want to discover our beautiful state and experience the local Potosí culture!
  I’m right in the city center, so it’s very easy to get around and explore everything San Luis Potosí has to offer. From the city, you can also visit amazing places like Real de Catorce and the Huasteca Potosina — beautiful destinations that you can explore on a quick getaway.I’m looking for someone who can help with reception, keeping the hostel clean, and preparing and organizing activities with our guests. I’d love to have you at the hostel, share experiences, contribute something to your journey, and hopefully have you bring something special to our community as well.
  
  Hola amigos soy Nico he decidido crear un hostal en el corazón del centro de San Luis Potosí pensando en los mochileros que quieren conocer nuestro Estado y conocer de la cultura potosina! Estoy justo en el centro, por lo que es bastante fácil moverse. Además, de la ciudad puedes conocer Real de Catorce y la Huasteca Potosina, lugares hermosos que puedes explorar en una escapada rápida. Se necesita de su apoyo de recepción, limpieza del hostal y ayuda para preparar actividades con los huéspedes.   I want people to know our city, our State and fall in love with it. We prepare activities for guests to do just that: embrace our culture. We want our volunteers to help and enjoy them too!
  
  Queremos que la gente conozca nuestra ciudad, nuestro Estado y se enamore de él. Preparamos actividades para que los huéspedes hagan precisamente eso: abrazar nuestra cultura. ¡Queremos que nuestros voluntarios ayuden y disfruten ellos también!

  Arbeit

  I’m looking for people who can help welcome our guests and assist them as much as possible, especially with how our hostel works and with information about what they can see and do in the city. We’ll give you an introduction so you can feel comfortable helping our guests!
  
  I’ll also need your help keeping the hostel clean and making sure the beds are ready for new guests.
  
  The commitment is 25 hours per week, divided into a maximum of 4 consecutive days (you can also work 3 days and have more days off).
  
  You don’t need to stay awake at night. We disconnect our phones after 11 PM, and everyone has a door code with 24-hour access. We simply take turns in case a guest arrives late at night, which doesn’t happen very often. As travelers ourselves, we don’t think it’s nice to arrive later than expected for whatever reason and find that the hostel won’t let you in.
  
  When we have enough volunteers helping with reception, other tasks may include helping with our events, maintenance and construction projects, as well as assisting with internet, marketing, and advertising.
  
  The minimum stay is 2 weeks.
  
  We also need you to be able to hold a conversation in Spanish over the phone.

  Necesito personas que ayuden a dar la bienvenida a nuestros huéspedes y ayudarlos tanto como sea posible, especialmente con el funcionamiento de nuestro albergue y lo que pueden ver/hacer en la ciudad. ¡Para eso te damos una introducción!
  
  También necesito que nos ayudes a mantener el albergue limpio y las camas listas. Pido 25 horas semanales divididas en un máximo de 4 días consecutivos (puedes hacerlo tres y tener más días libres). La gente no necesita quedarse despierta, desconectamos los teléfonos después de las 11 pm y todos tienen código de puerta con acceso las 24 horas, simplemente nos turnamos en caso de que un huésped llegue tarde por la noche, lo cual no sucede muy a menudo. Como viajeros creemos que no es agradable que por cualquier motivo llegues más tarde de lo previsto y el hostel no te abra la puerta.
  
  Cuando tenemos demasiados voluntarios para la recepción, otras tareas disponibles son ayudar en nuestros eventos, dar mantenimiento/construcción y ayuda con internet, marketing y publicidad.
  
  La estancia mínima es de 2 semanas. Necesitamos que puedas mantener una conversación telefónica en español.

  Unterkunft

  I offer bunk beds in a shared room. The bathroom is also shared. Both are quite beautiful and colorful. Both the room and the bathroom are shared with guests. Breakfast is also included, it is based on coffee, tea, bread, jams, cereals, milk, butter. I also have a fully equipped kitchen that is open for both guests and volunteers to cook their other meals.
  
  Ofrecemos literas en una habitación compartida. El baño también es compartido. Ambos son bastante bonitos y coloridos. Tanto la habitación como el baño son compartidos con los huéspedes. El desayuno también está incluido, es a base de cafe, té, pan, mermeladas, cereales, leche,mantequilla. También contamos con una cocina totalmente equipada que está abierta para que tanto los huéspedes como los voluntarios cocinen sus otras comidas.

  To explore San Luis you need no more than your own feet.
  
  San Luis is a charming city with great history and architecture. Local brewery is booming and with very interesting proposals. There is also a lot to see in the city and you are just a few hours away from some hidden Mexican jewels, from ghost towns in the middle of the desert to impressive water fountains deep in the jungle.
  
  Para explorar San Luis no necesitas más que tus propios pies.
  San Luis es una ciudad encantadora con una gran historia y arquitectura. Cervecería local está en auge y con propuestas muy interesantes. En la ciudad también hay mucho que ver y estás a solo unas horas de algunas joyas mexicanas escondidas, desde pueblos fantasmas en medio del desierto hasta impresionantes fuentes de agua en lo profundo de la jungla.
