  Beschreibung

  We are a thriving project nestled in a valley in southern Andalucia where we are creating a space for a “forest escape, restoration and recuperation”. In the months ahead we are putting the finishing touches and nurturing hands to this sacred space.
  
  We now only have vacancies for volunteers from beginning of October 2025, when we will re-open after the summer heat. We are generally seeking a couple (preferably) or two good friends, with the appropriate skill base, who may wish to stay here long term, as guardians and caretakers, . Please just reference this on contact and it can be discussed further.
  
  In general, we are especially interested in helpers with good carpentry skills; land based activities (landscaping, building stone walls, fencing, chopping wood); animal carers (we have a beloved donkey here); happy strong 'sherpas' as there is always materials and supplies to get in; perhaps a photographer to create some high resolution images for our website and preferably people who can take on responsibilities and be as independent as possible, whilst enjoying living amongst the forest.
  
  The land is a small organic orchard setting, surrounded by forest where there is NO ROAD ACCESS. It is necessary to arrive by foot, but there are two different paths leading to access ( one easier than the other). This place is for the “bravehearted and adventurous” amongst us. It is quite isolated and can be hard work carrying everything in and out (food, supplies, materials and waste). You need to be pretty fit and enjoy a physical challenge to fully appreciate the experience.
  
  There are a variety of eco-dwellings on the land; an original small stone farm house, yurts, cob and earth bag buildings, compost toilets, shanty showers, sauna (not used in the summer) and dipping pool .. it has the feel of a mini-village amongst the forest and its trees and is a very special and loved place.
  
  Somos un proyecto próspero enclavado en un valle del sur de Andalucía donde estamos creando un espacio para una «escapada al bosque, restauración y recuperación». En los próximos meses estamos dando los toques finales y nutriendo este espacio sagrado.
  
  Ahora sólo tenemos vacantes para voluntarios a partir de principios de octubre de 2025, cuando volveremos a abrir después del calor del verano. En general, estamos buscando una pareja (preferiblemente) o dos buenos amigos, con la base de habilidades adecuadas, que deseen permanecer aquí a largo plazo, como guardianes y cuidadores, . Por favor, haga referencia a esto en contacto y se puede discutir más.
  
  En general, estamos especialmente interesados en ayudantes con buenas habilidades de carpintería; actividades basadas en la tierra (jardinería, construcción de muros de piedra, vallado, cortar leña); cuidadores de animales (tenemos un burro muy querido aquí); «sherpas» fuertes y felices, ya que siempre hay materiales y suministros para entrar; tal vez un fotógrafo para crear algunas imágenes de alta resolución para nuestro sitio web y, preferiblemente, personas que puedan asumir responsabilidades y ser lo más independientes posible, mientras disfrutan de vivir entre los bosques.
  
  El terreno es un pequeño huerto ecológico, rodeado de bosque donde NO HAY ACCESO POR CARRETERA. Es necesario llegar a pie, pero hay dos caminos diferentes para acceder (uno más fácil que el otro). Este lugar es para los «valientes y aventureros». Está bastante aislado y puede ser un trabajo duro llevar todo dentro y fuera (comida, suministros, materiales y residuos). Para disfrutar plenamente de la experiencia, hay que estar en buena forma y disfrutar de los retos físicos.
  
  Hay una gran variedad de viviendas ecológicas en el terreno: una pequeña granja de piedra original, yurtas, edificios de adobe y sacos de tierra, aseos de compostaje, duchas en chabolas, sauna (que no se usa en verano) y piscina... da la sensación de ser un minipueblo entre el bosque y sus árboles, y es un lugar muy especial y querido.

  This area of Andalucia is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the south as the valley is known for its biodiversity and beauty. There are opportunities to see and integrate into traditional rural villages here, not to mention stunning walks and some other more sporting activities like mountain biking trails, cross country running, rock climbing and via ferratas etc ...
  
  Esta zona de Andalucía es uno de los lugares más bellos para visitar en el sur como el valle es conocido por su biodiversidad y belleza. Hay oportunidades para ver e integrarse en pueblos rurales tradicionales aquí, por no hablar de impresionantes paseos y algunas otras actividades más deportivas como rutas en bicicleta de montaña, carreras a campo traviesa, escalada en roca y vías ferratas etc....

  IN THE MONTHS AHEAD (October through to mid December 2025), we are seeking people who are confident, healthy and strong. The main skill base we are seeking for this time, would be cooking for quests and general tasks to keep the place clean, ready and accommodating for guests who might be staying .. so good general skill base in a variety of 'hosting' tasks. You must also be willing to carry various objects through the forest to the land. There are many other tasks too, less strenuous, although equally important and requiring focused and creative minds . You need appropriate skills, attitude and motivation to live off grid in an isolated but supported setting.
  
  EN LOS MESES PRÓXIMOS (de octubre a mediados de diciembre de 2025), buscamos personas seguras de sí mismas, sanas y fuertes. La habilidad principal que buscamos para este tiempo sería cocinar para las misiones y tareas generales para mantener el lugar limpio, listo y acogedor para los huéspedes que puedan alojarse... así que una buena base de habilidades generales en una variedad de tareas de «alojamiento». También debes estar dispuesto a transportar diversos objetos por el bosque hasta la tierra. También hay muchas otras tareas, menos agotadoras, aunque igualmente importantes y que requieren mentes centradas y creativas. Se necesitan las habilidades, la actitud y la motivación adecuadas para vivir sin conexión a la red en un entorno aislado pero con apoyo.

  Unterkunft

  The accommodation provided can vary as there are various types of dwellings on site, but all are grounded in nature with communal kitchen & bathroom facilities. You will need to have a sense of autonomy and confidence to be a part of this project and you will be expected to share cooking, cleaning and food responsibilities amongst those present and continue to keep the place in a tidy, tranquil and peaceful condition at all times.
  
  We try to keep the food simple but good and can cater for a variety of dietary requirements, but please specify before your arrival, so that we may be prepared, as we are remote ... generally, we maintain a vegetarian/vegan diet. Under normal circumstances, we would ask for 25 hrs /week in exchange for your food ( 3 meals a day) plus accommodation, but we can also be flexible on request and negotiate. You are expected to be autonomous with food preparation, preparing your own food and drinks, although all the ingredients are supplied. If there is a 'team' here, then this requires some team effort and co-ordination. Normally, someone within the group will be preparing a lunch meal, which we will all eat together, as part of the working day.
  
  El alojamiento proporcionado puede variar, ya que hay varios tipos de viviendas en el lugar, pero todas son de carácter básico con instalaciones comunes de cocina y baño. Tendrás que tener un sentido de autonomía y confianza para formar parte de este proyecto y se espera que compartas las responsabilidades de cocina, limpieza y alimentación entre los presentes y que mantengas el lugar en un estado ordenado, tranquilo y pacífico en todo momento.
  
  Intentamos que la comida sea sencilla pero buena y podemos satisfacer una variedad de requisitos dietéticos, pero por favor especifique antes de su llegada, para que podamos estar preparados, ya que estamos lejos ... en general, mantenemos una dieta vegetariana/vegana. En circunstancias normales, pediríamos 25 h/semana a cambio de tu comida (3 comidas al día) más alojamiento, pero también podemos ser flexibles bajo petición y negociar. Se espera que seas autónomo con la preparación de la comida, preparando tu propia comida y bebida, aunque todos los ingredientes son suministrados. Si hay un «equipo» aquí, entonces esto requiere cierto esfuerzo de equipo y coordinación. Normalmente, alguien del grupo preparará el almuerzo, que comeremos todos juntos, como parte de la jornada laboral.

  Parking is available a 10-minute walk from the property in an off-road parking space, which is fine in the short term, but not suitable for long-term stays, although you can park there and stay on the property for longer. Se puede aparcar a 10 minutos a pie del terreno en una plaza de aparcamiento fuera de la carretera, que está bien a corto plazo, pero no es adecuado para estancias de larga duración, aunque se puede aparcar allí y permanecer en el terreno durante más tiempo.
