  Dear Workawayer,
  We are a family of four (Andrea & Cinzia, Marco of 12 and Alice of 9), living in a small (but not too small) and beautiful town called Pesaro, on the Adriatic coast, central Italy.
  We have always been open to new cultures, new languages, customs and traditions. That’s why we are both (Cinzia and Andrea) working with foreign countries, in different activities and different roles. Andrea is travelling a lot abroad, Cinzia is working in Pesaro full-time.
  We have hosted many girls from all over the world, for short or longer period of time, learning a lot from everyone, giving them the possibility to share our family life, our house, our habits, our Italian culture. We started these cultural exchanges when our children were little, with a challenge: to teach them English in the easiest and most beautiful way of learning through everyday life and activities, without travelling. It turned out to be very successful and we feel very proud of it.
  We realize that our children improve their English any time we host someone, because everyone brings something new, anytime it’s a new worthy experience, that we will never forget.

  The workawayer will become part of our family, a special member with lots of attention. The workawayer will live her Italian experience by spending time and talking together, as well as discovering our beautiful territory and take the most of it during the permanence. Of course she will find new friends in our family for all her life, as well as meet new people.

  Arbeit

  Generally we require help with children during the afternoons, 4 afternoons/week, from 1 pm till 6 or 7 pm max. We need help with the lunch first, that we’re having together after school (so at around 1.30 pm), and then spend time with children. Actually children are not so little, so we just need to have a point of reference at home as supervisor, while they’re doing homework, checking that everything is ok, spending time with them speaking and amusing. Also, check and make sure that the house (especially kitchen and children room) is tidy, make the dish-washer, helping with small housework (all the family contributes!).
  Cinzia likes and enjoys cooking healthy food, especially vegetables, and many Italian recipes. So we don’t need help with the cooking (except with some pasta for lunch), but a collaboration with the cleaning after eating is always appreciated.

  Unterkunft

  One big private room with single bed, in one of the four floors of the house. Bathroom with shower is just next to it. Its use is almost exclusive to the workawayer, having another bathroom in the house. The house has a private garden and it’s located near a commercial center. The town center is at 15 minutes walking.

  Was noch ...

  Pesaro is located in central Italy, on the East coast. The town is quiet during Winter but alive during Summer, especially in the center and along the beach. Pesaro is the birth place of Gioacchino Rossini, so many activities are organized in his honor, like the famous Rossini Opera Festival in Summer. From Pesaro you can easily reach by bus or train all major Italian cities, but if you wish to remain in the area there is a lot to see in the nearest surrounding which is full of history, literature, architecture, nature (Urbino, Gradara, Fano, Rimini etc.).
