  Beschreibung

  We are a social promotion association with a wonderful headquarters on the first hills of Bologna (Scinthilla).
  
  It is a large rural house with a park of approximately 5,000 square meters. We are inside an agricultural estate that mainly produces wine: the situation is rather isolated from civilization but there is no lack of human contact as we often host events, courses or conferences.
  
  Next to the structure we have some hectares of woods in which we are creating a "fairy" path to bring children and families closer to nature.
  
  As an association we mainly organize personal growth courses.
  
  In the immediate vicinity of our facility there are fields, vineyards and woods in which to walk.
  The path also passes a short distance away which leads to an old abandoned chalk quarry.
  
  From here it is possible to walk to the Basilica of San Luca on the Bolognese hills.
  
  Moving by public transport it is easy to reach the center of Bologna.

  Was ist das?

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We are a social promotion association and we constantly organize personal growth courses, courses related to wellbeing, events and informative conferences: we are in all respects a cultural centre.
  Staying at our facility is a guarantee of constant intellectual stimulation.
  
  Activities related to nature such as gardening, caring for animals, fruit trees, the vegetable garden and maintenance of the forest path also lend themselves to more practical and concrete learning linked to the relationship with nature.

  Arbeit

  PRESENCE IN THE STRUCTURE:
  We want someone who is ALWAYS there when we are away for work or on holiday.
  
  GARDENING:
  The park adjacent to the structure is approximately 5000 square meters: it must be kept tidy with grass cutting and pruning (rose bushes, hedges and fruit trees).
  The fruit of the trees must be collected and possibly transformed into jams.
  There is also a vegetable garden which is currently not productive but we would like to get it back into operation.
  
  HELP AT HOME:
  The structure is over 300 square meters and requires constant care: we are looking for help with ordinary cleaning and to maintain order and care.
  
  ORDINARY MAINTENANCE:
  There are continuous needs for small maintenance: mosquito nets, window frames, fences, etc.
  
  ANIMAL CARE:
  Cocò and Fiona are our two very affectionate cats, we also have an indefinite number of bunnies. They all need to be fed and cared for daily.
  
  HELP WITH ECOLOGICAL PROJECTS:
  In the woods next door we are creating a series of paths that must be easily accessible by children and families. One help that we may need is the cleaning, signage and maintenance of the paths.
  
  LANGUAGE PRACTICE
  Speaking in English will certainly benefit adults and children who frequent the facility.

  Unterkunft

  We can accommodate in a single or double room, with practically exclusive use of the bathroom during periods during which we have no activities, but when we host courses, exclusive use of the bathroom is not guaranteed.
  No one sleeps at the facility except occasionally, so the person or people we host must be comfortable with solitude and isolation in the midst of nature.
  We are about 3 km from the first grocery store, so we will take care of the daily food shopping, but not the preparation of the food (obviously there is an equipped kitchen).

  Our guests should be prepared to spend the entire period away from the city as public transport to the center of Bologna is approximately one and a half kilometers away.
  
  IMPORTANT: we are looking for guests who always stay at the property when we are not there, so in their free time we would like them to stay at the house enjoying the nature and peace of the place.
