Hi!
My name is Il'yas.
I have been working in tourism for some time now, I would say it has been approximately 8 years. I have worked in many places and different areas but found myself loving what I do for a living currently. My ultimate goal is to develop tourism in Kazakhstan and I firstly want to start filling the fundament in the city of Taraz and Jambyl region. I opened tourism headquarters/hub where tourists and guests of ours who stop by the city have a place to get some rest, we have a working space hall so there is an opportunity to work on their individual/team projects, we have a kitchen so our guests can get their culinary skills on. I have a team around me that consists of four individuals. Our hub is based off 5 different sections: Tourism (tour products) , Music & Cinema, Crafting Wood/Metals, Education (Speaking Clubs) and last but not least Farming ( Garden/Construction Work) We are still building and adding on. Volunteers that will be in our hospitality would help around the house and fit themselves in the sections written above. This place aims to show the world Kazakhstan's wide culture and it is a place where you are always welcome!
We need volunteers who are traveling in Central Asia, who can help us to make guest house project in the mountain of Tian Shan.
You can help us by writing a blog, shooting a vlog and engage with local youth by telling about your place of origin. We have recently created a centre of international culture exchange for volunteers who travel around the world.
While your stay in guest house we will provide you with accomodation in our international guest house. Of course you will get to know local culture, traditons and you will have a chance to travel to a camel farm, steppe, yurt village in mountains Tyan' -Shan', horse farm.
All age groups are welcomed to participate and we will be happy to have a trustful and a memorable cooperation with all of you. We need your help in creating a hub for international culture exchange in Central Asia. Here is your chance to see the country in a way the majority of people can only dream about. Get in touch with us, send us your resume, or just drop us a line. There are a lot of beautiful places in Taraz region that the world doesn't know about and that needs promotion.

You will learn not only about our country but about the local culture and the real life of Kazakhstan. You will be able to meet new people, visit new places in Southern Kazakhstan. Taraz is an ancient city with many historical places and archeological excavations. A city is very green with many parks and nice weather. When we visit nearby touristic destinations, you will have an opportunity to ride horses on a horse farm, ride camels on a camel farm in the steppe, build yurt, witness eagle hunting in a farm nearby mountains, visit the local Eastern bazaar, visit the yurt village in the mountains, bee farms, and maybe speak with the local police :)
The team that works on the project is very hospitable, welcoming and fun to work with. You are welcome to join any fun activity organized.

Participants who had some experience in working with media projects, tourism, traveling, project management, artists, musicians, photographers, bloggers, etc are welcome. Of course, having a positive, outgoing, and a determined mindset would be helpful. If you're an experienced traveler then your suggestions, insider view, recommendations, and help will be very useful. Unterkunft
You will live in a newly built house, which needs a bit of landscape design and outer finishing of the house situated in one of the most ancient cities of Kazakhstan - Taraz. The house has a shower, bathroom, kitchen, and a beautiful backyard. During your stay, we might need to test a new tour or help with tourists and go to nearby touristic destinations where we will stay in yurts, camps, and with local families in the countryside.

The main public transport in the city are buses which are very cheap, but a taxi is also a cheap way to travel in the city.
There are many sites in the region that are worth seeing like an ancient mausoleum Aisha Bibi, Karakhan, historical museum, archeological excavation "Ancient Taraz", Eastern bazaar, etc. Because of the project, you will get to visit a lot of beautiful natural landscapes and historical places, do traditional nomadic activities during your 'work' hours.
