  Hello everyone,
  
  We are looking for help on our farm. Us is Albrecht (43) and Nina (39), our two dogs Alfa and Rio and our horses.
  To our family belongs as well Heiner (67) who is part of our project as well but is not living with us in the house.
  
  We are renovating a listed manor house ensemble, that we have bought almost 6 years ago and renovating since then with natural building materials. It will become a Kunstverein (art club) once its renovated. We have both a background in Fine Arts.
  
  We live on the construction side. Some parts are already nice, some not even touched. We are looking for people that like the charming aspects of our old lady and are fine with non-perfection. We have two rooms for volunteers with a heating system plus wooden stoves. We share all together the bathroom and a big kitchen. We are not a big community project but very open minded people, but as well like to read and spend time meditating or working on our projects. Therefore it's great for people, that like to have some time on their own, too and not necessarily looking for a big vibrant community. We have a bar at our place once a months and are well connected with similar projects in our region. We are in a 120 people village and there are two cities with 6000 inhabitants, supermarkets etc. in 6 km distance. There is not much going on here after September except for a very beautiful nature, time with animals, learning something about natural building materials and historic sides and a lot of space and time for own projects/work/introspective.
  
  We are looking for two workawayers in the time from mid September - end of November. Couples are welcome, too.
  Longer stays are preferred.

  Within our network of friends and neighbors you'll able to connect with the lokal area and culture as well with a variety of people from different background being in this region for different reasons. We can share a lot of knowledge in renovating historic buildings, the history of this area and eastern germany, sailing, meditating and being with horses eventually as well riding. Insights in running a glamping-site. Baking sourdough bread and some farming skills can be learned at our property from us.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for support in different fields. One person must not indeed be able to do all of it :-)
  
  Taking care of the horses
  We have six warmblood mares ranging in age from 3 months to 21 years. Stable work, cleaning horses, taking them to and from pasture and, if you have enough experience, working with the horses.
  
  Dogs
  We have to very agile German Shepherd dogs. If you are an experienced dog person (big dogs) and know how to handle them, we'd be happy to have help with them. Going for walks, playing, cuddling.
  
  Household chores
  Mainly cooking and keeping the kitchen clean and shopping groceries, in case you have a drivers license.
  
  Maintenance and construnction side
  We also need someone to help us with daily tasks like chopping wood for the stoves. And giving my husband a hand with the construction side. Someone with universal abilities would be a fit.
  
  (It's important that you are a European citizen or have a working visa for Germany. We pay 13€ per hour.)

  Unterkunft

  A basic bedroom in our house with a comfortable bed, chair, table and wardrobe. They have a heating system as well wood stoves. We can provide a nice space in the park for a camper/van as well.

  We offer basic bikes and transportation from and to the train station. As well a lift to the supermarket.
