  Dear Workawayer,
  Welcome to my Spanish home renovation, Mojacar Playa is situated in the coastal area of Almeria, known for it sunshine, beaches and interior desert regions. Lots to do from exploring on foot ,cycling and of course swimming. Being a beach town there are lots of restaurants, bars and the odd music club. Mojacar has invested a lot in cycles lanes so easy to get around, especially now with a Hoppy bike service close by. Behind the playa area up in the hills sits the white washed village of Mojacar Pueblo to explore as well. My name is Colin and I am beginning a house renovation that needs a modern face lift. I 'm looking for enthusiastic folks who enjoying learning in a domestic light DIY environment . The tasks will involve improving the garden , painting and assisting me in a general way.

  I belong to a hiking club so weekend walks will happen but I have an electric bike and scooter if you wish to head off on your own. Shopping trips to Almeria city and surrounding areas. I can pass on my skills if you wish that I have built up over the years with electricity, plumbing and Solar . I have been a helpx volunteer around the world so looking forward to hosting .

  Arbeit

  The ideal is to work together or on occasions for different tasks. This could be painting or gardening etc. The project will involve a Solar install as well so if you would like to learn how and other skills I will teach you as we work. The daily help is what ever is needed that day so it will always be varied but never hard or difficult, just light maintenance .
