My name is Laura, I am 35 years old and I am a psychologist. Carel is a sensitive and active boy who turned 4 in May.
Carel attends a small independent school in the countryside in Costitx. It is a 35-minute drive from home, and I usually take him there and stay in the area working on my laptop until it is time to pick him up. So we are away from home from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., during which time you would have the house to yourself, with time to do your own things.
We are practically vegetarian and I don't want meat cooked at home. I don't smoke either and I don't want anyone smoking in the house (not even on the terrace). Obviously, I don't mind if you smoke or eat meat when you go out, just not at home.

Carel va a una escuelita libre en el campo en Costitx. Són 35min en coche desde casa, y normalmente, lo llevo yo y me quedo por esa zona trabajando con el portátil hasta la hora de recogida. Así que estamos fuera de casa de 08:30h a 14:30h, tiempo que tendrías la casa libre y silenciosa para ti, con tiempo para hacer tus cosas.
Somos prácticamente vegetarianos y no quiero que se cocine carne en casa. Tampoco fumo y no quiero a nadie que fume en casa (ni siquiera en la terraza). Obviamente no me importa si, al salir, en otros lados, tú fumas o comes carne, solo en casa no.

I love sharing deep conversations and contributing when asked, based on my knowledge as a psychologist. We could also practise languages, teaching each other. And I could cook local dishes, and you could cook dishes from your region.
Before having Carel, I loved to travel constantly. I am fascinated by other lifestyles, needs, and customs. I also love to try typical foods from different places. So I would love to share long conversations.
Me encanta compartir charlas profundas, y aportar cuando se me pregunta, desde mis conocimientos como psicóloga. También podríamos practicar idiomas, una persona de la otra. E igualmente yo cocinar platos locales, y tú/vosotros cocinar platos de vuestra región.
Antes de tener a Carel me gustaba estar continuamente viajando. Me fascina conocer otros estilos de vida, necesidad y costumbres. También me encanta probar comidas típicas de distintos lugares. Así que me encantará compartir largas charlas.

Arbeit
We live alone and it would be great to have some help. For example, when we go shopping, it would be nice to have someone at home to help me carry the bags and put the shopping away while I bathe Carel. Some days cooking, or cleaning an area of the house.
The idea of having someone at home is also to create a bond, so the evening during the week would be the time to share and collaborate (6pm-8pm or so). The rest of the day you would have free time. With flexibility on which day to have off if you wanted to swap a Sunday for a weekday, for example.
If the assistance were related to video editing and social media, the schedule would be different, to be agreed upon together.
Vivimos solos y nos iría genial tener algo de ayuda. Cuando por ejemplo vamos a hacer la compra, que hubiera alguien en casa para ayudarme a subir las bolsas y colocar la compra mientras baño a Carel. Algún día cocinar, o limpiar una área de la casa.
La idea de tener a alguien en casa es generar vínculo también, por lo que la tarde-noche entre semana sería el momento de compartir y colaborar (18h-20h más o menos). El resto del día tendrías tiempo libre. Con flexibilidad de qué día tener libre si quisieras cambiar un domingo por un día entre semana por ejemplo.
Si la ayuda fuera en temas de edición de video y redes sociales, el horario sería otro, a convenir juntas.

The flat is right on the seafront promenade, so the beach is just a minute's walk away! And it's beautiful (kilometres long, fine white sand, clear water...). Every year, the Ironman competition is held here.
The coastal area of Alcanada is also very close by, with a beach that has a much more local charm.
The seafront promenade is full of bars and shops. And the bus stop is a 2-minute walk away.
El piso está en pleno paseo marítimo por lo que la playa queda a 1min andando! Y es preciosa (Kilométrica, arena blanca y fina, agua clara...) Cada año se hace aquí el Ironman
También queda muy cerca la zona costera de Alcanada, cuya playa tiene un encanto mucho más local.
El paseo marítimo está lleno de bares y tiendas. Y la parada de bus está a 2min caminado.

Con toda nuestra organización semanal, al final pasamos la mitad del tiempo fuera. Por lo que tendrás mucho tiempo en silencio, con vistas al mar, o en el escritorio de tu dormitorio, para trabajar en tus cosas.
