Lake house retreat in Whitewater Region, ON, Canada

  Beschreibung

  We are a semi retired couple who currently live in Ottawa. the capital city of Canada. Creating a retirement home 1 hr. west of Ottawa in Whitewater Region, on a lake. It is our private home.
  
  We need a small bit of help finishing interior of home and exterior maintenance/ landscaping. We would be commuting between Ottawa and the lake, as required. This would enable both touring of Ottawa and experiencing country living. We are situated on a clean, spring fed lake. Waterfront dock, swimming. Adirondack chairs, kayaks and campfire can be enjoyed.
  
  We are near Whitewater rafting on the Ottawa River. Algonquin Park is a 1.5 hr. drive. From Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto are accessible by bus. train or plane. We have extended family in the area. We both have part time jobs in Ottawa. Travelling is done mainly in the winter. Meeting new people and enjoying different customs and cultures is always enjoyable.

  We are always interested in meeting new people and hearing their stories. Interested in sharing each other's different cultural and travel experiences. Extended family is in the area.

  Arbeit

  Assistance is required to finish the interior of the lake house and landscaping. Tasks like flooring, doors, trim work , painting and landscaping needs to be completed.
  
  My husband would appreciate some help as he has been working for the past year on building the house. We could accomodate a Workawayer who is able to assist with these projects. Experience is advantageous but not essential.
  
  My husband is willing to share his knowledge and skills alongside Workawayers.

  A private bedroom in both locations with full bathroom nearby. 3 meals a day will be provided while staying with host.

  Local travel is limited at the lake as it is rural. We could transport you to Whitewater rafting or Algonquin Park as time permits.From Ottawa there is public transit, bus, train and plane for optional travel.
  Smoking and drug use is not permitted. Be respectful of noise level. No overnight visitors.
