We are a blended family with 5 children. The two older ones live in Paris and the last three live with us. Hospitality seems to us to be an important value to pass on to our children. Making our house and our family available to travelers is a project of opening up to the world. We both work and we would need relays to accompany the children in their daily lives or allow us to go out in the evening from time to time. Our house is located 5 minutes walk from the shops, the castle of the city, 10 minutes by car from the TGV station Paris-Lyon. We are two minutes by car from wooded areas and charming natural sites for walking, running, biking.

Nous sommes une famille recomposée avec 5 enfants. Les deux grandes vivent à Paris et les trois derniers vivent avec nous. L'accueil nous semble une valeur importante à transmettre à nos enfants. Mettre notre maison et notre famille à disposition des voyageurs est un projet d'ouverture au monde.
Nous travaillons tous deux et nous aurions besoin de relais pour accompagner les enfants dans leur quotidien ou nous permettre une sortie en soirée de temps en temps.
Notre maison se situe à 5 minutes à pied des commerces, du château de la ville, à 10 minutes en voiture de la gare TGV Paris-Lyon.
Nous sommes à deux minutes en voiture de terrains boisés et de sites naturels charmant pour se promener, courir, faire du vélo.

In our family, we favor family moments and friendly meetings around the cultural proposals of the city. The people we welcome will be able to discover from the house a view of the unique industrial historical heritage of the city. In the heart of Burgundy and renowned vineyards, we will be happy to share with them the discovery of the great French grape varieties. On the Paris-Lyon TGV line 10 minutes away, travelers can easily enjoy the big cities for the day (1h15 Paris - 45 minutes Lyon).

Dans notre famille, nous privilégions les moments familiaux et les rencontres amicales autour des propositions culturelles de la ville. Les personnes que nous accueillerons pourront découvrir depuis la maison une vue sur le patrimoine historique industriel unique de la ville. Au cœur de la Bourgogne et des vignobles de renom, nous aurons plaisir à leur partager la découverte des grands cépages français. Sur la ligne TGV Paris-Lyon à 10 minutes, les voyageurs pourront aisément profiter des grandes villes à la journée (1h15 Paris - 45 minutes Lyon).

Arbeit
We need help with the organization of daily life with our 3 children (6 years old, 5 years old, 3 years old): helping them prepare for the morning (dressing, breakfast), dropping them off at school , pick them up for lunch break, pick them up at the end of the school day, accompany them to their activities, prepare meals if necessary. Exceptionally, daytime help may be replaced/supplemented by evening babysitting. Depending on the needs, the help will be more or less substantial and/or concentrated on Wednesdays. School trips can be made on foot. Speaking English to our children would be an advantage.

Nous avons besoin d'aide pour l'organisation du quotidien avec nos 3 enfants (6 ans, 5 ans, 3 ans) : les aider à la préparation du matin (s'habiller, petit-déjeuner), les déposer à l'école, les récupérer pour la pause méridienne, aller les chercher à la fin de la journée d'école, les accompagner à leurs activités, préparer les repas si besoin. De manière exceptionnelle, l'aide en journée pourra être remplacée/supplémentée par un baby-sitting en soirée. Selon les besoins, l'aide sera plus ou moins conséquente et/ou concentrée sur le mercredi. Les trajets pour l'école peuvent se faire à pied. Parler en anglais à nos enfants seraient un avantage.

Unterkunft
We live in a large house with swimming pool (heated for the summer season) which is organized on 4 levels. Visitors benefit from the top floor of the house and for them alone the majority of the time. This space has 3 bedrooms and a separate bathroom. Storage spaces are available. Meals are served at around 7 a.m., 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. (5 p.m. tea time) French style (morning: bread, butter, jam, eggs, fruit, coffee or tea, pastries on Sunday; noon: starter of raw vegetables or salad, meat dishes or fish with vegetables and starches; dinner: soup or fish with vegetables. These indications vary according to the organization of the week.)

Nous vivons dans une grande maison avec piscine (chauffée pour la saison estivale) qui s'organise sur 4 niveaux. Les visiteurs bénéficient du dernier étage de la maison et pour eux seuls la majorité du temps. Cet espace possède 3 chambres et une salle de bain indépendante. Des espaces de rangement sont disponibles. Les repas sont servis à 7h, 12h et 19h environ (+ 17h tea time) type français (matin : pain, beurre, confiture, œufs, fruits, café ou thé, viennoiseries le dimanche ; midi : entrée de crudités ou salade, plats de viande ou poisson avec légumes et féculents ; diner : soupe ou poisson légumes. Ces indications varient selon l'organisation de la semaine.)

We have bicycles available for a getaway on the greenway (links Chalon Sur Saône to Saint Gengoux.) A 5 minutes à pied de la maison, l'Arc, scène nationale, offre une grande diversité de spectacles (danse, théâtre, concerts, expositions...) et l'Alto, conservatoire de musique et de danse permet également de s'initier ou poursuivre ses passions.
La médiathèque Christian Bobin, très appréciée de nos enfants, propose des animations hebdomadaires en plus de son choix de livres, BD, films, ...
Le stade Jean Garnier accueille les compétitions d'athlétisme et son accès est libre en dehors des entraînements d'équipe.
Le lac de Torcy offre un panel d'activités nautiques (voile, aviron, pêche à la ligne).
La gare TGV est à 10 minutes en voiture et dessert Paris en 1h15 et Lyon en 40 minutes. La gare régionale permet également de rallier Beaune, Dijon, ou Chalon Sur Saône.
