  Ideal as a stop-over for some days and to explore this nice region.
  
  
  Hi ! Having used Workaway ourselves, we would now like to offer other travelers the opportunity to stay with us - looking forward to meeting new people from different areas and nations. Our family consists of four people: Ulf and Uli work full-time (partly working from home), Pascal and Isabelle are studying and have already moved out but are on visits here and than. Our cat is very shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she won't get enough of your cuddles.
  
  We are located in the country side of the Taunus reagion, north-east of Frankfurt /M.
  Our small city is offering all you need for living: a small train station (Taunusbahn), supermarkets and small shops such as drug store, cloths, bakery, cafe, gelateria, reachable from our home by a short walk or by bike.
  The next bigger town is Bad Homburg (20 km) which can be reached within 30-40 minutes by bus or train.
  Frankfurt/Main city (40 km) can be reached within 40 minutes by car/ apprx 1hr+ by train -depending on the connection).
  
  We have plenty of space for you to enjoy your time. When we go on outings, you are welcome to come along.
  We love cycling, walking, hiking, swimming and spending time with nice people.
  In summer you can cool off in the small lake nearby or our tube in the garden. In winter you can enjoy a hot bath outside. (Don't worry, we have a shower inside the house, too ;-))
  Anyhow, there's lots to discover in the surrounding area.
  
  We can host 1-2 persons and recommend a stay of approx. 4-5 days. 🌿🏡🌸

  We enjoy spending time with nice people and listening to their stories.
  We like to do sports (biking, tennis,walking) and go on outings - you are welcome to join us.
  We also enjoy game nights and movie nights.
  We can help you with your language skills.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for support in the house and garden - depending on the season. Tasks include:
  
  Maintaining the garden:Helping us on mowing the lawn and removing weeds
  cutting hedges, picking fruit (we have 2 apple trees)
  Woodwork: Chopping and stacking wood
  Painting work
  Housework: Cleaning
  
  There's always something to do! Sometimes we work together, sometimes you will be working independently.
  We are thinking of an average of 3-5 hrs/day.

  Unterkunft

  You will have your own room with a sofa bed, the bathroom needs to be shaed with Pascal (once he is at home). The room offers space for a couple.

  Was noch ...

  We offer breakfast and are happy to eat lunch or dinner togehter. We might prepare local food but are curious to learn more about yours as well. Be ready to prepare some meals for us, too.
  
  Our town is surrounded by nature. You can reach the center by 5-10 minutes walk, the train station is about 25 minutes walk. We can lend you a bike of you wish.
  Our place is an ideal stopover when traveling from north to south or west to east (or vice versa)
  
  Recommended day- or half day trips:
  - Bad Homburg offers nice shopping opportunities, bars and coffee shops and cultural highlights such as a small castle and parks
  - The Taunus region with lots of nature e.g.going out for a walk, visiting the “Eschbacher Klippen” nearby (a small rock formation) or the Hattsteinweiher (small lake) to relax or go for a swim.
  - Frankfurt/M., Limburg, ....
  
  Important: pls make sure you have a travel and accident insurance covering your stay with us.
