  Beschreibung

  We are out of the city and live on a beautiful bush property near a forest! My partner and I have a young son and we are both very interested in dance, music, bike riding, and a bush and city combo!! We love living communally and sharing together and also to have time to go for walks or do a movement or music dicipline pracitce solo.
  LANGUAGE ❤️We are open to a Spanish speaking work away person/people (intermediate or advanced). We especially would like someone/people who are happy to speak only Spanish with our son, (it’s really important to us that he is exposed to the language from others- other than his mother!)… and to speak only Spanish with Charlotte also when you’re not around David (if David’s around- we will speak English -as adults- (still Spanish with Henry) as David’s Spanish is very beginner for now!) -This means, you could practice your English with David- or when we are all together as a group!-
  
  We love to share food and culture and life with people who visit us. We can share our creative loves (you could come to classes I teach if you like!), you can play in the studio, have a go on our instruments, enjoy the bush and swimming holes, meet some local revegetation/conservation legends (my parents!), and get to know a very special volcanic country.
  
  A bit more about us-
  We share land with a family friend. we have a hobby vegetable patch and want to plant more local species also. We have simple things I’d like help with at home and in and around my studio.
  
  I’m (Charlotte) a composer and musician and lead people in the community in meditative and exploratory projects also and David is a physical theatre artist, nurse and lecturer in nursing. Henry is a ball of love and energy… 1 year old in January 2024!
  
  I’d like help with any/or some of my websites maybe, basic house stuff and creating a more home-like feel, cooking, cleaning, Henry hanging out etc.
  
  We live in Newham, macedon ranges, one hour from Melbourne (more by train). We can pick you up from the station. If you have your own transport- that’s wonderful, but we do leave the property at least once a day I’d say so can do ocassional drop offs in town for shops etc And would be open to negotiating some touristy drop offs locally.
  
  *Note- We have a 15 minute or so FaceTime or WhatsApp conversation with all potential work-away-ers before we make a decision on whether we will host them or not- as we need to take a few factors into account being a family with a young son- and it will not always be the right time or fit.

  Creative music and movement is something we specialise in and can share about. We live in an area that has a lot of Old volcanic rock, my parents live down the road, and my mum especially is very interested in native plants and they are part of the local Landcare group, and very knowledgeable-there are beautiful walks and places to visit in the area

  We are open to a combo of things- may change depending on when you come!!….Childcare, Cooking, cleaning, gardening, basic home care tasks: gutters, weeding, planting, dishes, a sweep and a mop would be amazing! Doing laundry! Help getting studio more beautiful and home!
