  We are a family that dreams to create a Forest School on our land. We are building a community and developing participatory projects/workshops that promote awareness about sustainability and living in the countryside as a change-maker.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  In our home, we are a multicultural family. So who will be here will be able to interact with Portuguese, Latvian and Russian cultures. Our intuit also through this experience is promoting cultural exchange with a local community. We can offer the opportunity to learn how to start a land project and management, step by step, without a large budget. We also offer the possibility to help with an eco-construction project in our forest park, where we are preparing the space for our outdoor and educative project: Forest School. Learn to have more curiosity about living in the countryside without all the commodities of living in modern life, learn about deep interest in social and awareness projects about sustainability in vulnerable communities, get involved in the activities that we will share with them, be ready to share experiences and being active and also creative. We have a lot of space for Land Art.

  Arbeit

  We expect to receive people with an open spirit and curiosity about changing lifestyles and moving to the countryside without a large budget. We want to meet people with the mindset of change-makers. Some activities that we are planning for this summer time, in that visitors can be involved:
  Building eco-construction infrastructure
  Planning activities with us for the pedagogic program for our Ausekli Forest School - Summertime
  Share his/her workshop with the local community
  Learning about daily activities living in the countryside
  Participants can be involved in other participatory activities that NGO is providing for the local community.

  Unterkunft

  We offer a camping area with access to a sauna, the possibility to sleep with the commodity on the second floor of our sauna building (simple and minimal room) and also in our greenhouse. Anyway, this experience is perfect for people that love outdoor experiences. (Summertime) We have an eco-toilet, but we don't have tap water, we have internet around the home, about meals will be shared with the family and other participants in our activities on the land. We give a lot of value to living with respect for others, teamwork and community feeling. We expect that the people that visit us appreciate the simple life and sustainable life.

  Was noch ...

  People being here can really appreciate a good time in nature, near the river and a small like. We have bikes, so people can travel around. We live in the countryside and near the forest. There is good public transport access, and people can meet and travel easily around Latgale. Our region is full of wildlife, lakes and beautiful forest.
