An opportunity to fully immerse yourself in nature and off-grid living. We call our farm one with "humanitarian roots"-- to us this means we are first and foremost a place intended for healing, for people to come and immerse themselves in the natural world and gain explore how we can better relate to our ourselves, our communities, food, medicine, and the planet. Our vibrant produce and medicine is a byproduct of that first intention. We serve as a community center for people to come and relate to one another through the gardens. You will be invited into our residential "farmily" flow, offering you opportunities to reconnect with yourself through our daily activities.

For someone staying for a minimum of 3 months, we have a humble off-grid cabin with it's own shower and kitchen. We will provide bedding as well.

We constantly have fresh and organic produce coming through the farm from kale, to cassava, to mangos. Workawayers will have access to anything and everything that is growing in season. We will also provide cooking oils to use in our community kitchen. We also provide propane for cooking. Workawayers will be responsible for anything else.

We are located one mile from Pololu Valley and just outside of Kapa'au, a small town on the northern tip of Hawai'i Island. There is plenty of opportunity to explore the beauty around us. Kapa'au is known for its rural natural beauty and has a handful of restaurants and stores. We recommend that helpers bring/rent their own vehicles, scooters, or bicycles. We are in a very small town with limited transportation opportunities.
