  Hej!
  
  We are a half Swedish/Dutch family San, Madde, baby Lucy and our dog Fien and cat Siri. We live in an old school in Väse, Sweden, where we also have a sustainable/eko gift shop. San has his design studio at home where he makes design of recycled plastics. He has some workaway experience as well. In summer time we have a camper place with 4 places and we get visitors from all over Europe.
  
  Väse is a village between Karlstad and Kristinehamn, north of lake Vänern (which is 30 mins walk from our house). It has good accessibility by both rail, bus and car.
  
  We have a 7000m2 plot where we have the school, the camper parking place, a former woodworking workshop, and an old empty bath house. Even though the location is comfortably close to the freeway and railway station, it is a calm place without much noise and you walk out of the door into the forest. We also have a number of fruit trees.
  
  For Sweden we don't have so much land, but it is still a substantial area takes quite the effort to make and keep it nice. We work a lot on renovating the school, and work in the garden. It would be nice with somebody who can help out in the garden, for example cutting grass, edges, trim bushes, burn weeds, get rid of old greens... Don't worry, we have modern tools you can use, since the year is 2026 ;) We have a ride mower, ATV, hedge trimmer etc.
  
  We also need some help with some small fixes, painting the house / light woodworking (you don't have to have skills, San can show you).
  
  We try to eat as much ecologic food where we can. We ourselves have no dietary restrictions. If you are a hardcore vegan for example then maybe it will be hard to match, but let's talk about it.
  Madde is really good at baking bread, she can teach you if you like. We could use some help in preparing food as well. The laundry. Well, we could use help with basically anything since having a family and business takes a lot of time. It depends a bit on what you're good at, what you would like to do and what needs to be done.
  
  We are an open minded and down-to-earth family, and expect you to be that as well. We appreciate honesty: if you have something on your mind, speak it out :)

  You will get to experience life in Sweden at a proactive family. If you want you can get to know more about having your own business. We appreciate nature and like to go out and enjoy it, so we can show you for example how to make a fire.
  Madde can teach you pick the right mushrooms and berries since she is good at it. Also she can teach you in baking bread and cooking food.
  If you want, San can teach you how to ride an ATV, use garden machinery, carpentry etc. He can also teach you to weld, solder, fix old cars and mopeds

  Arbeit

  We could use help with a lot of things, but we don’t expect you to help with our business.
  
  Things we could really use some help with:
  
  - We plan to make a kitchen garden for herbs and other vegetables.
  - Work in the garden: cutting grass, remove weeds, trim bushes, blow leaves, keeping it tidy.
  - Renovating the school: painting, woodworking, window renovation and more.
  - Cooking food and other chores in the house.
  - Make walks with Fien, our dog.
  - Seasonal jobs: making juice from the apple trees, pick mushrooms and berries and make jam/ juice.
  - Building flower pots for in the garden.
  
  It depends a bit on what you're good at, what you would like to do and what needs to be done. We appreciate initiative and proactivity.

  We have a sleeping room in our home, the old school. At this moment we are turning the old workshop into a studio.

  In summer you can go and enjoy Lake Vänern. We have a bicycle you can take to the lake.
  There are many paths to walk, nature reserves to visit. Värmland is full of hidden gems.
