Beschreibung
Based in the country side of Petrópolis in the State of Rio de Janeiro, we are a community focused project based on art, education and discovery.
The location is a networking hub to exchange best practices and knowledge with people who are looking for a more creative and sustainable way to live. Fazenda Vira-Mundo hosts school kids for educational program in art, music, ecology and literature. In addition, workshops and classes for adults of the community such as sewing, weaving, carpentry, ceramics, heavy machines use, yoga etc.. Our goal is to provide a safe place for teaching, learning and skill development sor the community. Our infrastructure allows for people to explore creative, artistic and entrepreneurial interests.

Arbeit
The possibilities are end are many possibilities of things to do.. We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and well organized people help in with our project.
Our project involves fine art, literature, music, environmental education, sports, growing and preparing food, crafts, botanics, among others. We have an extensive after school program for local kids and professional courses for adults. We are launching a community beauty salon as well as a free dentist clinic.
Our volunteers may chose the project that best fits their skills as well as take part in our many open and free classes (yoga, capoeira, sewing, weaving, embroidery), borrow books from our library and explore the our beautiful coutryside.

Workawayers can take part in the educational team teaching languages to kids or adults or daily maintenance chores Our flexible program allows us to insert new and temporary activities to account for special skills our volunteers may have.
Unterkunft
We provide one room for up to 2 people in our beautiful guest house! The house is complete with bathroom, sofa, computer, wi-fi, a functioning kitchen with stove, microwave and mini fridge. There is also an outdoor brick oven and sitting area.
We will provide ingredients for 3 meals a day to be cooked in the guest house. We also have coffee and bread available in our shared kitchen, fruits, vegetables and herbs in our gardens that workawayers are free to use.
