  Welcome to our Project, our Mediterranean project by the sea in Dénia, on the beautiful Costa Blanca.
  
  We are an international family who love the outdoors, travelling, meeting people from different cultures and enjoying the relaxed lifestyle that comes with living close to the Mediterranean.
  
  Our idea is to create a small international community where travellers can stay for a while, share their skills and become part of everyday life. There are always little projects happening around the house and outdoor spaces, from gardening and DIY to cooking, creative ideas and improving our shared areas.
  
  We love people who are positive, independent and proactive. You don't need to be good at everything — maybe you enjoy building things, gardening, cooking, photography, art or simply getting involved and bringing new ideas.
  
  Life here is active and connected to the sea, with beach days, watersports, paddleboarding, surfing, BBQs and plenty of time outdoors.
  
  For us, Workaway is about cultural exchange, sharing skills, meeting people and enjoying Mediterranean life together. English and Spanish are both part of our daily life, making it a great place to practise languages naturally.
  
  This is a personal, non-commercial project. Workawayers will not be asked to work with customers, children's camps or any other business. The exchange is focused entirely on our home, shared living, cultural exchange and everyday community life.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Cultural exchange is a big part of this Project. We are an international family and speak both English and Spanish in our daily lives, so travellers have plenty of opportunities to practise languages naturally and improve their Spanish.
  
  You will also get the chance to experience the Mediterranean lifestyle and local Spanish culture, discover Dénia and the surrounding Costa Blanca, share meals and meet people from different countries.
  
  We have a strong connection to the sea and outdoor life, so there are also opportunities to learn more about watersports, surfing, paddleboarding and beach.
  
  We also love sharing skills. Whether it’s cooking, DIY, gardening, languages or creative projects, the idea is that everyone can teach something, learn something and bring their own experience to the community.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for positive, sociable and proactive people who would like to become part of our everyday life and cultural exchange.
  
  The help is simple and focused around shared living and our personal home. Depending on the season and everyone's interests, this may include:
  
  Garden & outdoor life: looking after plants, light gardening and enjoying our outdoor spaces together.
  
  Cooking & shared living: preparing meals together and helping keep communal spaces clean, organised and enjoyable for everyone.
  Maintenance: painting, small repairs, building simple things and improving indoor and outdoor areas.
  Creative projects: photography, art, decoration, languages or sharing your own creative skills and ideas.
  Cultural exchange: practising English and Spanish, sharing recipes, traditions, experiences and skills from different countries.
  Everyday shared living: everyone staying here contributes to keeping the house and communal areas pleasant and organised.
  
  We don't expect you to do everything! We prefer to find out what you are good at and what you enjoy, and then find projects where you can make a real contribution.
  
  We especially appreciate people who are independent and proactive — if you see something that could be improved, organised, fixed or made better, we love people who are happy to take the initiative.
  
  
  Most importantly, this is a cultural exchange rather than a job. We like to discover what each person enjoys and create an experience where everyone can contribute, learn something new and have plenty of time to enjoy Dénia and the Mediterranean lifestyle.
  
  The idea is around 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, with flexibility depending on the activities and plans for the week.

  Unterkunft

  You will stay in our shared beach house, located just a short walk from the sea in the Dénia area.
  
  Workawayers have a shared bedroom, as well as access to the common areas of the house, including a fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms, living spaces and our outdoor garden area.
  
  The house has a relaxed, social atmosphere, with plenty of space to enjoy life outside, cook together, have BBQs or simply relax after a day at the beach.
  
  We provide the basics you need for a comfortable stay, including Wi-Fi, bed linen, kitchen facilities and laundry facilities.
  
  The accommodation is simple and informal rather than luxurious — the idea is to feel at home, respect the shared spaces and enjoy a relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle with the other people staying here.

  Was noch ...

  The beach is just a short walk away, where you can swim, relax, surf, paddleboard or simply enjoy the Mediterranean. The area is also great for cycling, hiking and exploring the coastline.
  
  Nearby you can discover Dénia and its castle, Jávea, Oliva, the Montgó Natural Park and many beautiful beaches, coves and coastal villages. For longer day trips, Valencia and Alicante are both great options.
  
  Getting around is easy, there are also local and regional buses connecting Dénia with nearby towns and larger cities. We are happy to help you understand the area and recommend our favourite places to explore.
  
  There is also plenty of time simply to enjoy the house, garden, BBQs, meet other travellers and experience the relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle.
