Beschreibung
Me and Francesco are 34 yo and work basically remote in a contryhouse 1,15 h away from Turin.
We started this rural life in June 2025. The place is secluded but at the same time easily reachable by car, has a vegetable garden and some fruit trees. We also have a warehouse, a cellar and a well. The area is known for hiking, mountain biking, biking and climbing.
A friend of us, Matteo, is helping us a lot - and often staying with us, so you might meet him as well. A young kitty named Tonno is also here, she litterally adopted us.
We really enjoy sharing meals and cooking - both italian and foreign food.

We can share our cooking skills, Francesco is a freelance illustrator and passionate climber - so these are also topics we like. Here people go hiking, mountain biking, biking, climbing, swimming in the rivers. There are many local butchers and cheese makers in the area.

Arbeit
The Maine project will be moving the garden from the current place to another which is a little downhill; this will require some digging (not heavy, with proper equipment, we already started!) to make it flatter and have a proper watering.
We can also takle other smaller projects such as build the composter, move the pergola above the dining area, refine the platform we build below the chestnut tree, fix some steps, build a wood-fired oven.
Also cooking is considered an everyday project :) and we will be happy if we can start any artsy project to make the place even more beautyful!
We are looking for Workawayers for a maximum of 2 or 3 WEEKS.
We will only consider Workawayers with CAR or BIKES - because unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we will be able to take you around in our car.

Unterkunft
We have 1 BEDROOM with a queen-size bed at the ground floor. The ATTIC is also equipped with 3 single-beds total. Bring your own bedsheets and towles if you can - if not, we can provide you with something.
You can also sleep in your VAN (if you have one); we think TENT is not the best option (because of the conformation of the land) - but of course if you like we can try and figure it out too!
The use of bathroom and kitchen will be shared.
We will be more than glad to share breakfast, lunch and dinner with the workawayers!

Please, keep in mind that the nearest village (with shops, pharmacy etc) is 15 minutes by car, 1,5 by walk, and there is NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT SERVICE.
We DON'T have WIFI connection; there is telephone signal, but it is not always optimal (however, I still manage to work 8h per day!).
We don't have many house rules (except for NO SMOKING INSIDE the house): we just love proactivity and respect!
