We are a Swiss family living in the middle of nowhere in Eastern Finland. We have a log house for guests that needs a new veranda, entrance area, stairs... a lot of carpenter work! Additionally we want to build up a greenhouse in our garden that needs a concrete frame foundation... another task for a carpenter!
If you would like a peaceful place for a working holidays, welcome! You would stay in the same log house, where you would be working on the outside of it.

Our place is very peaceful and perfect for a time off. What about a digital detox? Or just a time to relax a lot and reload your batteries. You would be surrounded by forest and nature. You could also do trips to the Eastern most places of Finland and that means of the whole European Union, and visit places to experience the Northern Karelian culture.

Arbeit
new veranda, entrance area, stairs... a lot of carpentry needed! concrete frame foundation... another task for a carpenter! We don't expect you to help many hours a day. Some hours in the morning or afternoon would do it. Your time here should be relaxing too. Weekends (Sa-Su) should be work-free.

Unterkunft
Log house with a view to the surrounding forest. The log house has about 70 square meters living area and is renovated. Kitchen, shower, sauna, three floors. The little toilet house is outside, a special experience... Your stay would therefore (and because of the type of carpenter outdoor work) just fit in summer time.
Lunch will be served at our house from Monday to Friday. All other meals you can choose if you want to eat with us or prepare yourself in your lodging, just as you prefere.
