  Hey there! We’re the team behind a cozy and laid-back surf camp at a haven tucked into the stunning dunes of Hvide Sande on Denmark's West Coast. Our camp is a place for ocean lovers, kite addicts, sunset chasers, and anyone who enjoys a strong coffee after a salty session.
  
  We started this place out of pure passion for watersports, community, and the chilled-out surf lifestyle.
  
  it’s not just about riding the wind or catching waves – it’s about creating an open space where people from all over the world can meet, share stories, and feel like family. We host guests, teach lessons, rent gear, and cook for our guests.
  
  We're a small crew, and during the season, we welcome Workawayers to become part of our daily rhythm. From helping out with camp life and events to supporting in the surf school or kitchen, there's always something going on – and always time for a surf break when the conditions are right.
  
  Hvide Sande is a little gem between the North Sea and Ringkøbing Fjord, and we think it’s one of the most beautiful and underrated corners of Denmark. The wind is (usually!) good, the sunsets are wild, and nature is literally at your doorstep. Plus, the town has a fun little surf scene, cute cafés, and friendly locals who love a good laugh.
  
  Whether you're into watersports or just want to soak up coastal life and help out with a cool project, we think you’ll love it here as much as we do.

  We’re a small, international crew who love sharing our passions – whether it’s kitesurfing, making tea, cooking, or just sitting around the bonfire swapping stories from different corners of the world.
  
  As a Workawayer, you’ll live right in the heart of the camp, surrounded by guests and team members from Denmark, Europe, and beyond. We eat together, surf together, work together – and you’ll quickly feel like part of the family.
  
  Some of the things you’ll get to experience and learn here:
  
  The basics of surf and kite culture (or level up if you’re already into it!)
  How to run a seasonal, community-based business
  Insight into Danish coastal life and small-town vibes
  Skills like cleaning, hospitality, customer service – and even a little cooking
  Local language and customs (we mix a lot of English and German at the camp)
  How to read a wind forecast like a pro 🌬️
  We love when Workawayers bring their own flair – whether that’s music, food, language, or just a good story. And we’re always curious to learn about other cultures, ways of living, and what inspires people.
  
  We often hang out after dinner, jam by the firepit, or head out for group sunset swims. There are also local events in Hvide Sande – markets, concerts, surf comps – where you can meet the community and see how locals live by the sea.
  
  We hope you’ll leave with sandy toes, new friends, and some memories that stick with you for a long time.

  Arbeit

  We’re looking for someone to join the team and help us keep things tidy and welcoming around camp! 🧽✨
  
  The main tasks include:
  
  Cleaning the guest rooms every Saturday (this is the busiest day and usually a full workday).
  A half-day of cleaning on Thursdays to get everything ready for the weekend.
  Light daily cleaning duties – this could mean tidying up shared spaces, helping clean the bathroom if it’s needed, or giving the kitchen and dining area a once-over after dinner.
  The work is pretty chill, and we all help keep the good vibes going. There might be some spontaneous help needed if things get a bit messy during the day, but nothing too crazy. We’re all about keeping things clean, not clinical – our camp is cozy, casual, and full of sandy feet.
  
  In exchange, we offer:
  
  Accommodation at the camp (you’ll be part of the crew!)
  Free use of surf/SUP/kite gear (depending on your skills)
  Join a surf or kite course or yoga/workout/meditation class for free
  Same meals at the guests (7x breakfast, 4x lunch, 5x dinner a week)
  Lots of downtime to enjoy the beach, the fjord, and everything Hvide Sande has to offer.
  A monthly salary ranges between 400-800 Euros a month.
  
  This is great for someone who’s organized, easygoing, and happy to get their hands a bit dirty in exchange for sunsets, surf, and some solid new friendships.

  Unterkunft

  We offer all our Workawayers a clean, cozy single room, so you’ll have your own private space to relax and recharge. It’s simple but comfy – a proper bed, fresh bedding, and a safe, quiet spot to call your own while you're with us. 🌿🛏️
  
  You’ll also have access to our shared team living room and kitchen, a space just for staff and Workawayers. It’s perfect for winding down, making a snack, or just having some chill time away from the buzz of the camp.
  
  As for food – we’ve got you covered:
  
  Breakfast every day (7 days a week) 🍳
  Lunch 4 times a week
  Dinner 5 times a week
  You’re always welcome to join the meals we serve to guests, which are usually casual, home-cooked & organic and shared together. On the days when we don’t provide lunch or dinner, you're free to use the staff kitchen to whip up whatever you feel like.
