Hello everyone, Mas La Bajol is located in the first foothills of the pre-Pyrenean mountain range of La Albera, 25 minutes by car from the Mediterranean Sea with the rocky coasts and the Bay of Roses that can be seen from where we are located.

We are a couple, Jordi and Yolanda, and we have been living here for 30 years and betting on handicrafts, the garden and energy self-management. We make bread that we bake in a wood oven in a small bakery made by Jordi with his hands. This is how we clean the surrounding undergrowth, which is framed within the protected area "xarxa natura 2000" and specifically the Llobregat d'Empordà riu area. We also make natural cosmetics and soaps, all by hand, in small production. There is a space dedicated to medicinal plants, which is a world that we are passionate about. In addition, both of us make music, we both play the guitar and sing, and there is nothing better for us than to finish a day of work well done with a little music by the fire. We are not vegetarians, nor are we excessive carnivores, our diet is varied and of seasonal cuisine. We like to use wild plants and enjoy what the garden has to offer, even though we are not 100% self-sufficient. Medicine is a subject that Yolanda is passionate about, who has training as a physiotherapist and acupuncturist, in addition to being the one who makes natural cosmetics. We have chickens and two cats that come and go.

Mas La Bajol se encuentra en las primeras estribaciones de la sierra prepirenaica de La Albera, a 25 min en coche del mar Mediterraneo con las costas rocosas y la Bahia de Roses que se ve desde donde estamos ubicados.

Somos una pareja , Jordi y Yolanda, y llevamos aqui 30 años viviendo y apostando por las labores artesanales, el huerto y la autogestión energética.

Elaboramos pan que cocemos en horno de leña en una pequeña panaderia hecha por Jordi con sus manos. Asi limpiamos el sotobosque del entorno , que esta encuadrado dentro de la zona protegida "xarxa natura 2000" y concretamente la zona riu Llobregat d'Empordà.

Elaboramos también cosmética natural y jabones, todo de forma artesanal, en pequeña producción.
Existe un espacio dedicado a las plantas medicinales, que es un mundo que nos apasiona.

Además ambos dos, hacemos música, los dos tocamos la guitarra y cantamos, y no hay nada mejor para nosotros que culminar una jornada de labor bien hecha con un poco de música al lado del fuego.

No somos vegetarianos, tampoco carnívoros desmedidos, nuestra dieta es variada y de cocina de temporada. Nos gusta usar las plantas silvestres y disfrutar de lo que el huerto ofrece, aunque no somos 100% autosuficientes.

La medicina es un tema que apasiona a Yolanda, que tiene formación como fisioterapeuta y acupuntora , además de ser ella quien elabora la cosmética natural.

Tenemos gallinas y dos gatos que van y vienen.

Lo mejor es si podeis venir en vuestro propio vehiculo. sino, os llevamos hasta la estacion de bus más cercana , a 6km en Pont de Molins, y de alli llegais a Figueres, donde hay enlaces para ir a todas partes.
Ademas ,al lado de la estacion de bus, está la del tren , muy práctico.
