Marianne was a very good and thrustworthy house and cat sitter. She and her father stayed at the house for a week over christmas and although I only met her once she was kind, thorough and attentive. This was a very nice first Workaway experience! I looked after Moa's and Bone's cats while they visited family for 3 weeks this past summer. The Swedish country side is very beautiful and I enjoyed using their bike to explore. I baked a lot of cookies, read in the hammock, cuddled with the kitties, and ate lots of delicious Swedish strawberries,
… read more blueberries, and raspberries. When she realized I couldn't drive a stick (so I couldn't use her car) Moa spent a few days in between their travels taking me to the Aland Islands in Finland, to visit Uppsala, and to see the Stones of Mora.
I would highly recommend having a car or knowing how to drive a stick ( I really have to learn ) , I walked and used their bike to get to the bus, which is doable, just a long process. Overall, a lovely stay and Moa, Bone, and their cats are wonderful company! I would stay again, if given the opportunity.
