  Beschreibung

  We are a small family community and olive farmers, situated in the stunnjing mountain range of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, close to the National PArk of Pico do Papagaio and the Community of Matutu.
  The farm has 200 hectars of which 100 is destined to reforestation, about 3 ha is constructed with our homes (5) a series of comunal areas, such as kitchen and dinning room; a library and crafts building, a large room for yoga, music and dance; a silence room for meditation, sauna by the river and some guests rooms or chalets.There is chicken, ducks and geese pen. We also have a complete and comfortable house destined to volunteers and farming facilities.
  The olive grove was created to sustain the community through the extraction of extra virgin olive oil, all plantations are organic.
  Another activity at the farm is the rescue of abandoned and suffering animals, mainly cats and dogs, but we also have 3 horses and cows. The animals roam freely throgh the farm and interact with us.

  We are a very varied small family community with a variety of talents, including arts, marketing, astrology, psycology.
  Our intent is to develop a self sustaining community through the extraction of organic extra virgin olive oil, but also planting our basic foods.
  We have a reforestation area and many trails to explore with plenty pf cristal clear water.
  Our guests benefir from the exchange with the different personalities with distinct tallents.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for volunteeres that have some agro experience, preferably with olive farms. But we welcome other help as well, such as permaculture, VETs or animal lovers to assist with the rescued animals care and someone willing to assist in the kitchen amd farm equipment maintenance.

  The region is very beautiful in all aspects, culturally there are many historical cities to visit such as, Tiradentes, Caxambu, São João del Rei; National park of Pico do Papagaio, Ipitipoca and many trials and water falls. If the traveller has driving licence we can try to make a vehicle available for short trips, otherwise there are public transports on the village near by to major cities, wich in turn are linked by bus to all major cities.
  We are 5 hours away from Rio de Janeiro by bus and same distance approx. to São Paulo.
