  Beschreibung

  Anne 71 and Ian 67 live in a country farmhouse just outside a small Normandy village. We have 5 dogs, 6 cats and poultry. We also have a large vegetable garden, a paddock and a small wood. Accommodation is in an adjoining part of the house with its own kitchen and bathroom and double bed.
  We would like help with the wooded area of our land which also has a small pond fed by a natural spring as well as trying to tame a large bamboo area.
  There are many cycle routes nearby, a beautiful lake with climbing faces, a medieval town but no public transport. We can loan you bikes and take you out for visits.
  Our area is good for birdwatchers as we have an amazing variety of species both on our own land and also nearby.
  Not vegetarian ourselves we can cater for you but not vegan unless you want to cook for yourself.
  Its very quiet here, there is no light pollution for stargazers and just to sit in the evening and listen to the sounds of nature with a glass of wine is our idea of a nice evening.
  We do have TV, fiber internet and Netflix but there are no local cinemas or night clubs and the local cafe closes at 8.00.

  Arbeit

  We would work with you some of the time but would need to manage the vegetable garden and the poultry whilst we cook and clean in our house. If you wish to practise or improve your French then we can help. Depending on your competences we can show you DIY techniques, poultry management and how to best use some garden tools if you want.

  We are a non smoking household and although not vegetarian ourselves can cater for this but not vegan. Normandy is an area rich in dairy products and the local meat is very good. Ian is a keen chef.
