  Beschreibung

  Hey there! I’m Blaga and I live in a mountain house at the edge of the forest in the beautiful Rhodope Mountains of Bulgaria, 30 min drive from Smolyan.
  
  I have three amazing dogs with big personalities and two cats with even bigger ones, who enjoy coming on walks with us in the forest.
  
  Levski and Mecho are Karakachan dogs. Big cuddly baby bears with whom building trust is very important.
  
  India is a wild and free spirited Barak, who likes to hunt and run free as often as she can.
  
  Merlin is a slightly obese black cat who loves to cuddle.
  
  In summer Tabby usually shows up for breakfast and sometimes goes off for up to three days at a time. But we never worry as she’s a festival cat and always comes back.
  
  As summer is almost here I need someone reliable to look after my brood (usually for a week at a time, but you’re welcome to stay longer if you like fresh air and pristine nature).
  
  Dates I will surely be travelling during:
  
  8-14 June
  7-12 July
  5-14 August
  
  These are confirmed trips but can always host around these dates too as help with the dogs is always welcome.

  The village we call home is also home to a vibrant international community made up of young and old folk alike. We love newcomers and always make them feel welcome!
  
  Now that the weather is warmer the village has a restaurant called the Pink House where we gather often.
  
  Other things you can expect: movie nights, hikes and day trips usually on the weekend when the locals organise themselves. We often go to Greece as well as we are 45 minutes from the border.

  Arbeit

  I need someone to look after my dogs for a week at a time throughout the summer.
  
  Two of my dogs need daily walks, one needs to be assisted from the barn to the garden and back during the day. He has another guardian who takes him for walks.
  
  They eat once a day at 7pm and the cats have breakfast first thing in the morning and kibble during the day.
  
  I’m looking for someone who is patient and very responsible as these are big dogs and there are some specifics about walking on leads and when and how they can be let off them.
  
  A love of animals is of course the most important part.

  Unterkunft

  You would have your own private room in a three story house that has all amenities but is not luxurious, rather lived in and comfortable.
  
  Clean towels and sheets are provided. We have fast internet and a projector but no TV. The house is remote and our closest neighbours are an 87 year old grandma and her 69 year old son, their horse Kiril and their 9 sheep.
