  Hello, Workawayers! I'm Evita, the heart and soul behind a Creative Cultural Hub, located in the vibrant city center of Thessaloniki, Greece. I'm a dedicated creative spirit with a passion for bringing people together through art, culture, and community.
  
  My Family:
  I am a single mother by choice to an adorable 18-month-old baby (born in August 2024 so depending when you read this you can do the math :) ), and together we're exploring the wonders of life, guided by the Montessori method (kind off) . My family also includes two loving dogs, who are an integral part of our daily lives and the welcoming atmosphere here.
  
  Joining the team:
  By joining us, you'll become part of a dynamic and supportive community. I mostly need support in childcare and housekeeping at this stage of life, however you'll have the opportunity to engage in creative projects and contribute to the maintenance of our unique space. In return, you'll experience the rich culture of Thessaloniki, learn new skills, and make lasting connections.
  
  The Hub:
  It is more than just a space; it's a vision of a world where creativity, collaboration, and cultural exchange thrive. We focus on a wide range of artistic disciplines, including theater, dance, music, and more, with a special emphasis on projects that integrate immigrants and refugees. The hub serves as a rehearsal space, a workshop area, and an office, buzzing with creative energy and innovative ideas.
  
  Our mission is to use art as a tool for societal healing and to create a space where diverse cultures and communities can come together. We aim to foster an environment of learning, sharing, and growth, both for the local community and for travelers from around the world.

  As I need help with my daughter while doing my day to day work which includes facilitating workshops, cultural management and interesting meetings, you will also be able to network and immerse in the active cultural creative ecosystem of Thessaloniki ,and the extented european network. We will also be sharing meals and quality time together, during which I will also be able to get to know you better and support you in making the most of your stay in our city, related toyour interests.

  Welcome to our vibrant creative cultural hub in the bustling heart of Thessaloniki, Greece. We're dedicated to fostering creativity, community, and cultural enrichment.
  
  Location: Thessaloniki city center, Greece
  
  The tasks that I really really need help this Autumn is Childcare and maintenance. If i am to put it into hours i would say it would be one hour of daily space maintenace (vacuum and cooking maybe) , and 3-4 hrs of childcare. Please read the accomodation situation carefully before sending me a message as it is quite unique and not necessarily ideal at this point.
  
  Your Role:
  
  Maintenance: Help maintain our rehearsal theatre room and my home (weekly).
  Childcare Support: I'm a single mom by choice following the Montessori method with my 13-month-old baby who just started walking and need support while I work. She was born in August 2023 as i will not be updating her age per month,it will be easier to know the developmental stage she will be in
  Creative Collaboration: Co-create workshops and cultural activities that align with our mission.
  Ideal for: Those who love arts, are enthusiastic about childcare, and are fine with pets – we have two friendly dogs! 🐶 The activities and support you will be offering me will be for non profit activities, such as free workshops offered to the community, support in meetings, and support with the daily life maintenance and taking care of my daughter (trying to jugle many roles, means i drop most of the balls most of the days, and i need support to make sure i can float , be a good professional and a good mom.

  Type of Accommodation:​​
  
  Living Space until 10th December : Private bedroom within the workshop space, which includes a shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom.
  Unique Setup: The workshop space is also used for rehearsals, workshops, and as an office, offering a unique living experience where the accommodation is private but integrated into the creative hub’s activities.
  This Autumn the space is used some days during the week as an office, and on Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday , Friday , Saturday and Sunday 17.00 - 21.00 for theatre rehearsals. , which means those hours it's not really available. You would need to be comfortable with the sharing of the space with these activities, and understand that is basically just a sleeping space for the evening.
  Most morning are chilled and the office day starts at 10 , and this not everyday. Cooking can take place more organised in my living space which is on the same floor next door ,

  11th December till mid January : you will be hosted in our interns apartment and be able to have your own room and normal flat living conditions. before december is not possible as an option as it is used for the accomodation for the volunteers and interns.
