  Nine years ago, my husband and I sailed from Argentina to Brazil, and we fell in love with Ilha Grande. Four years ago, we upgraded to a larger sailboat. We've dedicated ourselves to enjoying this paradise and life on board. We've been offering charters to finish paying for the sailboat. It's impossible to find another place that surpasses this quality of life. I enjoy appreciating and living surrounded by nature and the sea. Living on board is still my choice. I've decided to resume the 2024 season.
  
  The sailboat is very spacious and well-maintained, but like a house, it requires time to keep it beautiful. Specifically, I'm looking for someone with proven knowledge of sailing, not less than 48 feet, to check the condition of water connections, electrical and mechanical systems (Volvo 59 hp), and instruments. I'll organize your daily tasks based on objectives, up to 4 hours per day. In exchange, I'll provide accommodation on board with a private cabin and bathroom (the shower is shared). In case of charter work, we'll agree on payment for sailor and stewardess tasks. The estimated date to begin preparations is around December 10, 2023.
  
  The rest of your time will be for you to explore Ilha Grande. It has incredible places thanks to its unique Atlantic Forest in the region, crystal-clear waters, and a tropical climate. From the mooring where I am located, you have three nearby beaches you can reach by paddle surfing or swimming. You'll discover turtles, starfish, schools of fish, or even the unexpected appearance of dolphin families. The tranquility of the sunrises and sunsets is unique, and you can watch them from the sailboat's deck. Another activity I love is discovering enormous jacaranda trees, walking along trilhas (trails) that are so lush you can't see the sky, surrounded by the scent of honeysuckle. You'll come across cachoeiras (springwater springs) to refresh yourself and continue the path to stunning landscapes that look like postcards.
  
  The main salon is very spacious, as well as the cockpit and the deck. There's a support boat available, and you'll learn to operate it to assist the guests.

  I have friends in different places on the island that we can visit. There is a very cheap boat that crosses you to the mainland, you can visit other towns by bus, such as Paraty, it has a very nice historic center.
