  Hi! I’m Joanna. I’m running a small education center in the south-west of Poland in Szklarska Poręba (near the Czech Republic). I’m looking for workawayers who would like to come and share some knowledge about their culture. I want my students to meet new people from around the world. From my personal experience I know, this is the best way to encounter the reality of life in a different country and learn to respect others. Kids come here every day and learn English. We are still developing. My center is located in the mountains and has a spectacular view. If you decide to come here, you will have an impact on children and their development. If you have a unique skill that you can teach, you are most welcome to share it with us. This experience is for people who love kids.
  
  Currently, our main goal is to teach very practical English. Szklarska Poręba is a small city, where you can hike, ski and enjoy nature. If you want to explore the Karkonosze Mountain, you can do it in your free time.
  
  I can offer an accommodation - a small apartment in the same building. Our cottage is 300 years old and it is considered to be a national heritage.
  
  Additionally, if you have experience in teaching English, I can offer minimal wage for teaching independent lessons.
  Requirements for teachers:
  - clean criminal record
  - outstanding review from your previous boss
  - IELTS / TEFL certificate or equivalent
  - reliability

  Arbeit

  You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, teaching, or volunteering) is preferred.
  • Understanding of child behaviour and needs is essential.
  • Creativity and the ability to organize activities, such as games, crafts, and storytelling.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • A good level of spoken English to interact with children.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable.
  • Responsible and safety-conscious.
  • Flexibility to work during agreed hours, typically 4–5 hours per day, 4-5 days a week.
  • Physically fit and able to engage in active play.
  • Clean criminal record, especially regarding working with minors.
  • First aid knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to share your culture and learn about the local traditions.
  
  We provide accommodation and a minimal wage (according to Polish law).

  I can offer a small apartment in our historical 300-years old building with a beautiful view. The apartment has all basic amenities (kitchen, private bathroom).
  The house has an enormous garden.
  A small shop is nearby.
  Lidl, pharmacy and other supermarkets are in the city center.
