Help our support cultural activities at our trulli village in Puglia, Italy

  Beschreibung

  We have a little village of trulli (special rock houses typical of Puglia area) where our association manage to organize activities that relate with health (yoga, shiatsu, breathing, and much more), arts (painting, craft, patchwork and more) and recreation (summer camp, dance, events).
  We organize projects with schools in Italy and in other countries. Sometimes we have guests who come for small holidays.
  During the summer I'll be in the village with my 3 girls (15 years, 13 and 3.5 years), in September we plan to move back to Milan (where I come from) and I'll be going back and forth for the activities either in schools and in the village.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  This is a wonderful area of Italy, full of history and wonderful nature. It's charming in the summer as well in the other seasons of the year! Our projects, mostly the one with schools, are innovative and full of emotions. We exchange with children and realities of other countries. The teachers how come and teach our activities are all people very professional and with many skills, so staying here and collaborate is always a personal growing!
  We are in an area where farms are very high skilled and natural, we have great contacts with them and coming here could be also a chance for getting to collaborate also with them and learn new skills like, for example, hydroponic growth.

  Arbeit

  We need many different skills and help!
  - We need to build an activities room (100 square meters)
  - We need help in keeping the structure and the garden clean and charming
  - During summer we need babysitting and help also for children who come for the summer camp
  - For school projects we need people with experience with children, creative and open minded, with the aim on trying to bring children to develope their talents and express themselves freely!
  - We need teachers (also english speaking) for the activities
  - In July we need help for gathering almonds and in October we need help for gathering olives.
  Our goal is to create a place where people feel good and express themselves, we mostly prefer to work with children!

  Unterkunft

  It depends on the time of the year you can come and which will be your activities.
  During summer you will have your own room in the main apartment where I live with my 3 children. In the other months of the year there will be a 2 rooms apartment (always in the trulli) with a bedroom, a living and a bathroom, independent with private open space. The heating is with stove.
  This is a kind of a wild area where we have many strays (cats and dogs) that show up for food...we take care of them outside of the house! Smoking is not allowed inside the structure!

  As I said , this is a nice area with many things to do and see in the surroundings. We are close to Alberobello, Ostuni, Cisternino, Locorotondo, Polignano. Selva Di Fasano is on a hill and from our village there is a beautiful view of the sea! 100m away there is the bus stop that brings you to Fasano and in 10 minutes walk you get in the center of Selva di Fasano where there are coffee shop, grocery shop and other bus stop. The best here is to have a car, I can manage to leave you mine, we need to talk about it! But can be done!

  We have Wi-Fi available in the main house and common areas. The connection is generally good for emails, online meetings and remote work, but as we are in a rural area, the speed may vary depending on weather and usage. There are quiet spaces where digital nomads can work, especially outside peak guest periods.

  Platz zum Abstellen von Camper Vans

  We have plenty of outdoor space where campervans can park safely. The area is suitable for medium and large vans, and access is generally easy. Having your own campervan can be a great advantage, especially during busy periods when guest accommodation inside the borgo may be occupied. Basic access to water and outdoor facilities can usually be arranged depending on the period.

  Hier sind Haustiere in der Regel willkommen

  We can accept workawayers travelling with pets, especially if they have their own campervan. When indoor accommodation is available, pets are usually hosted in Trullo Amelia. We ask that animals are well behaved and supervised at all times. Any damage caused by pets should be repaired or covered by the workawayers.
