This workaway experience truly couldn't be any better. This family is THE most warm, welcoming, fun and loving family and you will feel just at home with them. … read more typical boys! Very kind, intelligent, lots of energy and it's very easy to grow a bond with them!
The location of their home ... is absolutely great. You have the chance to live right in the center of Valencia, where you can explore everything walking distance and have everything you need around the corner. The old town (my favorite) is walking distance as well, as so many other places, and should you choose to go further - the bus or metro station is also literally 2 minutes from the apartment. If you speak spanish or want to learn spanish - this is a great opportunity. Jose and Lukas (the older brother) speak English without a problem, with Enri and Mat you'll get the perfect opportunity to practice your Spanish, since they speak less english! Yet, even though I arrived only speaking English, I have to say that we never had a problem of communication :) Your job is to basically pick up Mat from school (the school is across the street) around 5pm, and spend the afternoon and evening with the boys, do activities in English, have dinner together ect., have some fun in-between ... the usual!
Overall, I feel extremely grateful to have experienced this time with Enri, Jose, Lukas and Mat and I'll always think of this family with a big smile on my face. I wish you nothing but the best! Thank you for everything. Missing you already. Abraza a todos de mi parte!

The job is only to take care of the kids and do activities with them in English, even if they teached me more Spanish than I teached them because Lucas and Mat are really fun and intelligent children. … read more workaway is an opportunity to learn Spanish and about the culture because the hosts take you to their family and friends meeting. The accomodation is a huge flat, where the volunteer has its private room, located just in the center of Valencia, which is an amazing city. In short, I recommend this workaway, thanks again!Feedback
