  My name is Jana and I live in Berlin with my three children (8/8/10). Our home is a lively, creative place with a real and human everyday rhythm — conversations, shared meals, music, books and cultural exchange are naturally part of life here.
  
  This Workaway exchange centers on cultural exchange, especially during evenings and weekends. The focus is on sharing everyday life, culture, language and perspectives in a natural and relaxed way.
  
  Personally, I work independently as a life coach and freelance writer. Themes like personal growth, embodiment, emotional awareness and conscious living are part of my world. I feel deeply connected to nature and animals — especially horses — and I value depth, authenticity and meaningful conversations.
  
  I appreciate a respectful atmosphere, clear communication and emotional maturity. Calm, grounded energy is very important in our home. I feel comfortable with people who are warm and kind, but also self-responsible and stable in themselves.
  
  This exchange is about sharing a home — meals, conversations, culture and everyday life — in a genuine and human way.

  art exhibitions, museums, music, theatre, cinema, neighbourhood markets, international food, and creative communities.
  
  In our home, cultural exchange happens naturally through daily life:

  • light household tasks (keeping shared spaces tidy, maintaining order, and sharing responsibility for kitchen and bathroom cleanliness)
  • cooking together and sharing recipes and food culture
  
  From March onwards:
  • support on the large rooftop terrace
  • helping to set up raised garden beds
  • growing vegetables and herbs
  • planting and caring for new plants

  We live in a large, bright top-floor apartment in a beautiful historic Berlin Altbau building. The neighbourhood is quiet and very green, with many cozy cafés, small boutiques, art studios and small shops nearby.
  
  We are also very well connected to Berlin’s public transport system, so the city centre can be reached within minutes.
  
  We value privacy and respectful co-living — you will have your own space, while also being part of a supportive household structure.
