Welcome!
The hamlet remained abandoned for several decades until it was bought in 2020 in order to be renovated. The project is to create a collective habitat that tends towards food and energy autonomy in order to make the hamlet an ecological and resilient place. Actually we are not.
Currently, we are 3 adults and 2 children living together, between 6 and 42 years old:
Alex, geologist and Steph, speech therapist, the initiators of the project with their two children aged 6 and 8 : Augustine and Jules. .
A single person also occupy temporaire y the place: Sarah.
You will be able to help with the association's tasks: Help prepare our on-site activities aimed at promoting biodiversity and autonomous housing (cooking for the team, participating in participatory projects, going to display, creating posters on CANVA, maintaining biodiversity mounds, caring for our biodiversity area (Mandala); etc.
WARNING: if your wish is to discover market gardening on living soil, this is ONLY possible via the woofing platform. Indeed it is the only platform authorized by the MSA because the market gardening activity is not associative but within the framework of an agricultural company.
In your free time, you can enjoy an idyllic setting, close to beaches, woods, Laïta... You can also take advantage of a lively department that offers plenty of entertainment throughout the year.

Le hameau est resté abandonné pendant plusieurs décennies jusqu'à ce qu'il soit racheté en 2020 afin d'être rénové. Le projet est de créer un habitat collectif qui tend vers l'autonomie alimentaire et énergétique afin de faire du hameau un lieu écologique et résilient. Pour le moment nous ne sommes pas encore autonome.
Actuellement, nous sommes 3 adultes et 2 enfants à cohabiter, entre 6 et 42 ans :
Alex, géographe et Steph, orthophoniste, les initiateurs du projet avec leurs deux enfants de 6 et 8ans: Augustine et Jules. Une célibataire occupe parfois également le lieu: Sarah.
Soyez prévenus, la première famille occupe ponctuellement l'étage du bâtiment commun. Pendant ces périodes ils partagent alors la cuisine intérieure avec tout le monde. Il faut donc être à l'aise avec le fait de côtoyer de jeunes enfants bruyants quand ils ne sont pas à l'école. Néanmoins la cuisine d'été reste disponible si vous avez besoin de calme pour cuisiner/manger le soir.
Vous pourrez aider pour des tâches de l'association: Aider à préparer nos activités sur site visant la promotion de la biodiversité et de l'habitat autonome (cuisiner pour la team, participer à des chantiers participatifs, aller faire de l'affichage, créer des affiches sur CANVA, entretenir les buttes de biodiversité, donner du soin à notre zone de biodiversité (Mandala); etc.
ATTENTION: si votre souhait est de découvrir le maraîchage sur sol vivant, ce n'est possible QUE via la plateforme woofing. En effet c'est la seule plateforme autorisée par la MSA car l'activité maraîchère n'est pas associative mais dans le cadre d'une société entreprise agricole.
Sur votre temps libre, vous pourrez profiter d'un cadre idyllique, proche des plages, des bois, de la Laïta... Vous pourrez aussi profiter d'un département vivant qui offre beaucoup de divertissements tout au long de l'année.

We offer you an experience in an participatory housing. We are at the beginning of our project and you will therefore be able to see how governance is developing, the constraints we have to face and help us find solutions to the questions that arise every day.
You will be able to learn a lot about eco-construction (lime plaster, earth-straw walls) depending on the construction sites in progress but also about renovation in general (plumbing, electricity, carpentry, etc.)
Brittany is also a part of France very marked culturally and you can attend various FestNoz which are organized in the area. For surfers, the beach is only 5km from the hamlet.
Nous vous proposons une expérience dans un habitat participatif. Nous sommes au début de notre projet et vous pourrez donc voir comment se développe la gouvernance, les contraintes auxquelles nous devons faire face et nous aider à trouver des solutions aux questions qui se posent chaque jour.
Vous pourrez apprendre beaucoup sur l'éco-construction (enduits chaux, murs terre-paille) en fonction des chantiers en cours mais aussi sur la rénovation en général (plomberie, électricité, charpente, etc)
La Bretagne est par ailleurs un coin de France très marqué culturellement et vous pourrez assister à différents FestNoz qui s'organisent dans le coin. Pour les amateurs de surf, la plage se trouve à seulement 5km du hameau.

Arbeit
Depending on your wishes, your skills and our needs, you can help us in various ways:
- Help with the renovation: we have 8 farmhouses to renovate. The projects in progress are: the realization of a duplex (foundation, insulation, electricity, etc.), the renovation of a farmhouse dating from the 17th century using traditional techniques including straw and mud, the development of our common kitchen...
- Help with the kitchen: Meals are regularly shared all together, so it is a matter of being able to prepare mainly vegetarian dishes for 8 to 20 people.
- Help with children (from 6 to 8 years old)
- Help with gardens for non-profit activities (not in the farm but only the zones than the association care about)
- Help with the animals: chickens and sheep from Ouessant
En fonction de vos envies, de vos compétences et de nos besoins, vous pourrez nous aider de divers façons:
- Aider à la rénovation: nous avons 8 longères à retaper. Les chantiers en cours sont: la réalisation d'un duplex (fondation, isolation, cloisonnage, électricité, etc), la rénovation d'une longère datant du XVIIème siècle, l'aménagement de notre cuisine commune
- Aider à la cuisine: Les repas sont régulièrement partagés tous ensemble, il s'agit donc de pouvoir préparer des plats majoritairement végétariens pour 8 à 20 personnes.
- Aider avec les enfants ( de 6 a 8 ans)
- Aider aux jardins pour les activités non lucratives (pas dans l'entreprise agricole, uniquement dans les zones de biodiversités entretenues par l'association)
- Aider avec les animaux: poules et moutons de Ouessant

We are located just a few kilometers from the best surf spots in southern Brittany, a few pedal strokes from Laïta and a few strides from a wood.
We are 20 'by car or bus from Lorient, a very lively city.
In summer, you can also learn our traditional Breton's dances during the many FestNoz and FestDiez in the region.
Nous sommes situés à seulement quelques kilomètres des meilleurs spots de surf de la Bretagne sud, à quelques coups de pédales de la Laïta et à quelques foulées d'un bois.
Nous sommes à 20' en voiture ou en bus de Lorient, une ville très vivante.
L'été, vous pourrez également apprendre nos traditionnelles danses bretonnes lors des nombreux FestNoz et FestDiez de la région.
