  Hi !! my name is Eric i work in social education and art projects in Chile. I am looking for collaboration in the creation of a giant puppet in my home-workshop. The idea is to find people who want to learn and collaborate in this creative process. This way I can advance this project and people can also learn about the artistic work and our culture of Valparaíso.
  
  I run a project called "Gigantes sin Fronteras" (Giants without Borders) and we work with schools, communities, NGOs and also in creating carnivals with people and their stories mainly from the creation of masks, giant puppets and performance.
  
  During the year I work with more colleagues but at the time everyone is very busy with work activities and I want to work on the creation of a new Giant inspired by nature from a dreamlike and also mythological approach.
  You don't have to be an artist. I am looking for collaboration and also sharing with people interested to create and share new ideas so if you are a person with a creative sense, who likes art, culture, creating things, painting, photography or design, even things like clothing or recycling is very good.
  
  We can also share time, cook, walk through Valparaíso and learn about the history of the city.
  
  There are children at our house , so it is important that you have experience and respect for children's rights.

  I teach Afro-American percussion classes, so we can organize a class and learn about Afro-American and Afro-Latin rhythms and instruments if you are interested to take class.

  Arbeit

  At this moment I need help to develop a creative project related to a giant puppet inspired by indigenous American mythology and develop an aesthetic that can be understood in any culture. I seek to create a character with scenic impact and that is why it is so interesting to receive collaborations from people from other cultures, because this can enrich our work. You don't need to be an artist, there are many things we can do, painting, working with recycling, designing clothes, painting, building the giant's body, using lights, photography, web design. paper mache... if you work with the body in dance or movement and taking care of it will also be very helpful, because carrying giants is hard work... all kinds of creativity will be a great help, including the exchange of ideas and management to take this giant around the world.
