Beschreibung
We are a family with 2 girls (twins), they are 15 years old . We would like somebody who speak English with them.
I am a civil engineer and I work in a public company and my partner works in marketing.
Last seven years volunteers have been with us. The experience has been perfect. We think is necessary repeat the experience to get the girls improve their English . It would be perfect is you are English mother tongue and you are near 18 year old,
We live in Santiago de Compostela, a small town localised in the north of Spain (Galicia). Santiago is quite and very beautiful place, UNESCO World heritage . Do you know the way of St. James?
We live in a comfortable house in the countryside, but very close to the city centre, about five minute by bus and there are bus stop one minute far on foot. -

Santiago is a cultural town with an old University so you could meet many young people (mainly Students). You would have the posibility to attend to Spanish courses in the University or in private schools.
In Santiago is very easy make friends in order to practise Spanish or know a different culture. -

Arbeit
We need a english speaker preferent irish or british, but the most important is your profile fits with us. I think you must love speding time with the girls and get along with them. Encoraging the girls to speak, read and write in English as much as posible must be the goal. Now they are adolescent, so you minght be as friend to make thing together. Theses the reason I prefer gilrs arround 18 years old, You wouldn't be a babysitter
We prefer long periods (at least 3 months), because we think is better for the girls, but we have flexibility. If you stay at home we want that you feel as a member of the family.
The tasks would be to spend time with the girls doing things, speaking and teaching english. Now they can undestand and speak English quite good, but they need improve vocabulary and reading and writing skills..
Besides, I need improve my English, so you could help to practice my speaking and writing. -

House in Santiago de Compostela with garden. We have a beautiful free room in a confortable house.
We have another house in the beach,near Santiago, and sometime we go to spend the weekend or summer, It´s a very beautiful and quiet place.

The girls haves school every morning and extra activities in the afternoon. The volunteer would have free mornings at least. Not problem if they need work in the free time.
