Here I had a very calm and peaceful stay in that beautiful little village, surrounded by the most astonishing landscape, where the energy is very healing. Where ever you may look, you get an eye bath of beauty.

Julien is very welcoming, kind, smart and full of amazing ideas. I learned a lot here, about renovation (and myself ;) ), which was easy, with his patience, humour and peaceful way of beeing.
The 'work' is never boring, well structured, explained and organized. It's very satisfying to see the results after few days and weeks. And for me to realize, that I'm able to use all kind of different tools and that things that seemed not really possible are actually doable.
The day would start after a short guided meditation, which I really loved. And then we would start the 'tasks' at 8am 'til 12.30pm, which was great, because then in the afternoon, I could enjoy all that peace, also in myself. And enjoy the time for reading, writing, reflecting, walking, meditating, questioning, talking with other volunteers etc.
Also his lovely parents or friends are often coming by to help or sharing time, which makes the experience rich and warm. We shared a nice evening around the fire, with an amazing buffet prepared from everyone, singing, playing guitar, talking, laughing... so beautiful memories.
Julien is also always happy, to give you great tips about where to go for a walk or what to visit nearby and likes to share an afternoon hike or a swim in the river or go for a day trip during the weekend. That was really amazing.

… read more physio-therapy advices and so on... As far as work is concerned, they are really handy with tools, autonomous and meticulous. Just within 2 weeks, we made tons of things like creating rooms with timber-frame techniques, beams, lime mortar and paintings, so many things nicely done.
