  Hi, I’m Erik! I’m a 35-year-old guy from the Netherlands, now living in Madeira. I run a small company remotely and recently bought a house that needs some love and renovation.

  I'm well integrated in the hiking community here aswell as dancing. Be prepared to be taken to some dances ;).

  You will have a reeeallly big advantage if you have actual experience with construction or as a handyman to do stuff like:
  
  Work that needs to be done now
  - painting the garage wall
  - painting garage fence
  - power cleaning surfaces
  - levelling the garden
  - making pergola for grapevines
  - removing kitchen
  - moving furniture downstairs
  - Cleaning up the shed
  - Hanging lamps inside

  Everything: bedroom bathroom, kitchen & living room for you and possibly one other workawayer.

  Was noch ...

  The most chill cities (funchal, ponta do sol and camara de lobos) are really nearby.
  There is a bus stop really near my house so you'll be easily in Funchal, but a car/scooter is better.
  
  You can also go for hikes easily by joining some groups that organize a lot of hikes free to join. I'll probably be in funchal a lot so i can drop you off sometimes.
