  East of Tena, Puerto Misahualli is a port located on the Napo River, in the heart of the subtropical forest. It is a village and the starting point for trips to the Amazon. Tourist activities such as sailing canoe, the meeting of Indian communities to discover their habits and customs, the discovery of medicinal plants, fauna and flora, local crafts allow the population to have some financial resources.
  We are a small family association that has its headquarters in France at LA CIOTAT and is located in PUERTO MISAHUALLI at the gateway to the Amazon in Ecuador (near TENA) for a project of reforestation and preservation of the primary forest (with a project nature reserve). The farm is 30 hectares with half in primary forest and half deforested. We are working with a team on the spot (our employee, Thorgal 22 years old, Franco / Ecuadorian born in Ecuador who speaks French, Spanish and English + 2 volunteers, girl and boy in French civic service) an experimental plantation of cocoa farming (with the traditional cocoa tree ARRIBA NATIONAL) agroforestry of 3 hectares. We practice agroecology and are interested to be more and more autonomous about food. The host house has dry toilets, rainwater is recovered. There is a large communal kitchen with a very large terrace to enjoy the outdoors. There are 4 large bedrooms, 2 of which are shared by two.
  The climate is tropical, so it is hot and it rains often, there are many insects.
  We need volunteers to help us make a kitchen garden (making a small greenhouse, planting and composting) to maintain the cocoa farm: to plant in the plantation peanuts, corn, squash, lemongrass, etc. We want also make a dung for ducks next to a water source. Only projects to make the farm autonomous.
  
  
  
  A l’est de Tena, Puerto Misahualli est un port situé sur le fleuve Napo,en plein cœur de la forêt tropicale.C’est un village et le point de départ pour effectuer des séjours en Amazonie.Les activités touristiques comme la navigation en pirogue,la rencontre de communautés indiennes pour découvrir leurs us et coutumes, la découverte des plantes médicinales,de la faune et de la flore,de l’artisanat local permettent à la population d'avoir certaines ressources financières.
  
  Nous sommes une association environnementale qui a son siège en France à La Ciotat et qui est implantés à PUERTO MISAHUALLI aux portes de l Amazonie en Équateur (près de TENA) pour un projet de reboisement en agroforesterie cacao et de préservation de la forêt primaire (avec un projet de réserve naturelle). La ferme fait 30 hectares avec la moitié en foret primaire et la moitié déforestée. Nous sommes entrain de réaliser avec une équipe sur place (notre salarié, Thorgal 22 ans, Franco/Équatorien né en Équateur qui parle Français, Espagnol et Anglais + 2 volontaires, fille et garçon Français en service civique ) une plantation expérimentale de cacaoculture (avec le cacaoyer traditionnel ARRIBA NATIONAL) agroforestière de 3 hectares. Nous pratiquons l'agroécologie et sommes intéressés pour être de plus en plus autonome concernant l'alimentation. Le projet débute depuis novembre 2018, c'est la jungle...il reste encore presque 600 arbres à planter...
  Notre maison d’accueil est en pleine foret, a des toilettes sèches , l'eau de pluie est récupérée. Il y a une grande cuisine commune avec une très grande terrasse pour profiter de l'extérieure. Il y a 4 grandes chambres dont 2 sont à partager à deux.
  Le climat est tropical, il fait donc chaud et il pleut souvent, il y a beaucoup d'insectes.
  Nous avons besoin de volontaires pour nous aider à faire un potager (fabrication d'une petite serre, faire les semis et le compost) à entretenir la cacaoculture : débroussailler avec la machette, planter dans la plantation des cacahuètes, mais, courges, citronnelle, etc..Nous voulons aussi réaliser une marre pour des canards à coté d'une source d'eau. Que des projets pour rendre l'homme autonome.

  A la ferme, l'apprentissage est sur l agroforesterie, c'est à dire la diversité de variétés de plantes dans la plantation de cacao, tout est à créer ou plutôt planter. Donc vous allez apprendre sur le nom et la reconnaissance des plantes, comment faire des semis, comment planter, comment tailler, comment nourrir les plantes, créer son composte, faire une ombrière, transformer la terre argileuse de l'Amazonie pour en faire une terre riche en humus. Comment utiliser la nature de manière durable et responsable. L'échange culturel est basé sur le respect de la personnalité de chacun, la diversité des cultures des pays différents. Nous avons besoin d'échanger nos compétences en terme de biodiversité, des écosystèmes, d'autonomie. Comment l'Homme peut réduire son impact environnementale ?

  In our home on the farm's land which is 30 hectares. In the middle of the forest, away from the village.
  We do not yet have the budget to provide food, so we suggest you participate in the purchase of food for the common pot and work 15 hours a week. We hope to be able to change this point in a few months
  
  Dans notre maison d accueil sur le terrain de la ferme qui fait 30 hectares. En pleine forêt à 15 minute du village en voiture.
  Nous n'avons pas encore le budget pour offrir l'alimentation, donc nous vous proposons de participer à l'achat de nourriture pour la cagnotte commune et de travailler 15 heures par semaine. Nous espérons pouvoir changer ce point dans quelques mois

For your free time there is a lot of ballad to do, waterfalls are ready from home. Buses pass 20 minutes walk from us. To go to our farm the price of the taxi is $ 3. If you like nature it's for you ... You can go buy milk, eggs at our neighbor.
  
  Le climat est tropicale, il faut aimer le chaud, l'humidité car il pleut souvent. Il y a beaucoup d insectes aussi ... Pour votre temps libre il y a beaucoup de ballade à faire, des cascades sont prêtes de chez nous. Des bus passent à 20 mn à pieds de chez nous. Pour aller à notre ferme le prix du taxi est de 3$. Si vous aimez la nature c'est pour vous...Vous pourrez aller acheter le lait, les œufs chez notre voisine.
