  If you’d like to embark on a special adventure, working and living in a little slice of paradise, then this is the place for you. Come and join our team at a local, family-run campsite right by the Atlantic Ocean, on the beautiful and breathtaking island of São Jorge in the Azores (Portugal).
  
  Just a stone’s throw from magnificent natural pools and surrounded by stunning nature, we believe this is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to experience island life and enjoy an incredible adventure. Our campsite offers a warm and friendly atmosphere for both campers and staff.
  
  We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic people who love nature and are seeking an unforgettable summer experience, to work in our bar and/or restaurant. You will be part of a friendly, welcoming and communicative team that values team spirit, positive energy and warm smiles.
  The role is paid, and camping and meals are included, as well as access to all the campsite’s facilities, including a laundry, hot showers, a campers’ kitchen, etc.
  
  Our team is diverse, made up of people from all over the world, and the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed; we make sure there’s a positive vibe and a spirit of mutual support. As part of the team, you’ll have the chance to meet a wide variety of interesting people – from team members to locals and travellers – and share moments and experiences with them. You’ll have the chance to gain experience, develop your communication and interpersonal skills, and perhaps even learn a new language whilst doing so.
  
  In your free time, you can explore and discover the island and its natural wonders; take a dip in the bluest of waters, go for walks, sample the local cuisine, and learn about the customs and traditions of the islanders. Or simply enjoy a good book in a hammock in the park and watch the most breathtaking sunset.
  Working hours are flexible and can be part-time or full-time, depending on what suits and is required by both parties. Full-time shifts are usually 8 hours, and part-time shifts can be between 4 and 6 hours.
  Pay will be based on hours worked and in line with the statutory hourly rate, and any overtime will be fairly compensated.
  
  Accommodation is right on the campsite, surrounded by magnificent scenery and with the sound of the sea in the background, as the natural pools are just a stone’s throw from the site. Meals are shared with the team; we try to ensure there is always good food and good company. You will also have space to store your belongings, as well as to store food and cook, if you wish.

Terás assim a oportunidade de ganhar experiência, trabalhar as tuas capacidades de comunicação e interação e talvez até aprender uma língua nova enquanto o fazes.
  
  No teu tempo livre, poderás explorar e descobrir a ilha e as suas maravilhas naturais; dar mergulhos na mais azul das águas, fazer caminhadas, provar a comida regional, conhecer os costumes e tradições das pessoas da ilha. Ou simplesmente, desfrutar de um bom livro numa cama de rede no parque e assistir ao mais estonteante pôr do sol.
  Os turnos de trabalho são flexíveis, e podem ser em part-time ou full-time, dependendo do que será mais adequado e necessário para ambas as partes. Os turnos full time são, normalmente, de 8 horas e o part time poderá ser entre 4 ou 6 horas.
  A remuneração será paga de acordo com as horas trabalhadas e em linha com a remuneração legal por hora, assim como quaisquer horas extras serão justamente compensadas. 
  
  A acomodação é mesmo no parque de campismo, envolvido por cenários magníficos e tendo como som de fundo, o som do mar, uma vez que as piscinas naturais são a um passo do parque. As refeições são partilhadas com a equipa, tentamos garantir que haja sempre boa comida e boa companhia. Terás também espaço para guardar as tuas coisas, bem como guardar os alimentos e cozinhar, se quiseres.

  The campsite is located in the village of Calheta, on the island of São Jorge, in the Azores, Portugal.
  The island has an airport as well as ferry terminals and connections to other islands, and we’d be delighted to pick you up when you arrive and show you some of the island’s beauty and what it has to offer, as well as all the key locations and points of interest, such as pharmacies, the health centre, supermarket, museum, cafés, swimming pools, etc.
  The island is blessed with wonderful natural beauty and has much to offer those who love nature and the sea.
  Summer is a time of joy, light and smiles, and in your free time you can explore unforgettable landscapes, go hiking and walking, visit local cheese dairies, experience summer festivities rich in local culture and tradition, or simply enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear blue waters of the ocean right there. It is very common to see whales and dolphins passing by, making every moment by the sea even more special.
  
  And, to top it all off, at the end of the day, you can watch the most breathtaking sunset; the perfect way to round off a day in this little paradise.

  A ilha tem aeroporto bem como terminais fluviais e ligações a outras ilhas, e teremos todo o gosto em ir-te buscar quando chegares e mostrar-te um pouco da beleza e do que a ilha tem para oferecer, bem como todos os pontos importantes e de interesse, como farmacias, centro de saude, supermercado, museu, cafés, piscinas, etc.
  A ilha é abençoada com uma beleza natural maravilhosa e tem muito a oferecer para quem ama a natureza e o mar.
  O Verão é uma época de alegria, luz e sorrisos e no teu tempo livre podes explorar paisagens inesquecíveis, fazer trilhos e caminhadas, explorar as queijarias locais, experienciar as festividades de verão enriquecidas de cultura local e tradição ou simplesmente desfrutar de um mergulho nas águas azuis e cristalinas do oceano mesmo ali. É muito comum ver baleias e golfinhos a passarem por ali, tornando casa momento junto ao mar ainda mais especial.
  
  E, a cereja no topo do bolo, no final do dia, é a possbilidade de observar o mais impressionante pôr do sol; a maneira perfeita de acabar um dia neste pequeno paraíso.
