Beschreibung
Welcome, Workaways! We are in the process of renovating Koh Phangan's original yoga school and there's lots to be done. Our Yoga Center was started in 2001 by David who grew up in Canada and has been studying and teaching Chakra Yoga for 47 years. Ely is now managing the property and is excited to work with people from around the world! We are situated on the northwest side of the island in a beautiful jungle with ocean views, only 2 minutes drive to the sandy shores of Haad Salad beach. The land is a beautiful green space which houses 10 bungalows, a restaurant, two pyramidal shaped yoga studios and a sound dome.
Over the next few months we will be completely renovating and we'd love your help. We are looking for experienced self-motivated individuals willing to commit for at least one month. If you are willing to help out with multiple jobs this would suit us best as we often have last minute jobs pop up that need an extra pair of hands.
If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to an inspiring project and you possess any of the following skils: reception, social media, event management, exceptional yoga teachers, carpentry, electrical, landscaping, and construction (with professional experience).

Arbeit
We are rebuilding our facilities doing landscaping, gardening, lighting, decorating our public areas. Any people with business experience are also an asset. Artistic ideas for our property to make it more zen and beautiful! We are huge fans of DIY projects and sustainable design! There are many different projects on the go, please let us know about any specific skills and areas of expertise you have so we can make sure it's a good fit for everyone :) We are open to hiring one or two exceptional and experienced body therapists and yoga instructors (with the possibility of generating revenue with additional workshops and services).

We can offer a bed in a dorm room, shared bungalows or a private gazebo. Please let us know what you are comfortable with in terms of sleeping arrangements, some bungalows are shared but can be male or female only rooms if that's more comfortable.
The property has a lot to offer, we offer free yoga classes, meditation spaces and free access to most of our own programs when they are running.

Throughout your stay you'll have plenty of time to explore this magical island of beaches, mountains, jungles, and waterfalls. There are also a few places around the island that are great for dancing the night away. Some people say this location puts you in a time warp of being in the moment. Guaranteed to meet travelers and interesting people from all around the world, Koh Phangan is the perfect place to indulge in self growth and positive vibes, you might never leave :)

A beautiful couple with lovely and peaceful energy. They're very dedicated workers, responsible and easy going. They're polite and very conscious taking this opportunity to work as a volunteer to learn and grow. Hope they'll be back to spend more time with us!
