We are the most social hostel in Saranda, Albania. Etch your name in folklore, and be of a part of the team that helps mould this place and makes it a home to so many people that come after you.

Living near the beach. We will also be running tours and when there are free seats you are more than welcome to come along. Plus free pub crawls!
We are located a stone's throw away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, Ksamil (AKA the Maldives of Europe), The famous blue eye, Butrint National Park & Lekursi castle can all be reached in under 45mins.
With a stunning backdrop, amazing people, great vibes & a ton of beerpong, you're guaranteed to have an amazing time working here.

Greetings fellow traveller! We would like to welcome you home. We are a social hostel so loads of fun to be had but you’ll still be able to get some sleep. We are offering a bed, breakfast and the opportunity to live next to the beach while having a good time. All this for a measly six, four hour shifts, leaving you plenty of time to explore Saranda & the beautiful environment surrounding it.
Only solo travellers should apply. This hostel will be a great place for you to meet people and we only offer bunk beds (really uncomfortable to share)
Since we are a social hostel you will be expected to socialise with our guests. We really want a social atmosphere and we wont get that if our guests are mice and doormats. So if you are really shy, this is not the place for you to work.
We require an absolute minimum of three weeks, but prefer four or more, especially during peak season. Also, do not apply more than four weeks before you want to work here, we do not take people on that early.
Here are some of things you’ll be doing in exchange for this experience. General cleaning of the hostel (kitchen, bathrooms), mopping, changing beds, sweeping and trash duty will all be involved. General duties like checking in guests and socialising will all become second nature.
You will also be trained in the most extreme of all the hostel activities BEERPONG! Our volunteers will be able to amaze our guests with their ping pong prowess and share in all the beer soaked glory.
With a stunning backdrop, amazing people, great vibes & a ton of beerpong, you're guaranteed to have an amazing time working here.

Honestly probably the funnest three months of my life.
Loch is an amazing host that genuinely cares about his volunteers, and if you do a good job he will make that known too you.
If you are considering doing this Workaway...stop considering, just do it!
