  Hi, my name is Nicola! I am a teacher and single parent who runs a non profit organisation. In this organization we have a beautiful project, a non formal platform for creatives in the center of Portugal. Based in a old building in the center of Caldas da Rainha, 5 minuts from the beach and Óbidos, 20 minuts from Peniche and Nazaré and 80km from Lisbon. We are regenerating the whole building although we already have a multipurpose room for concerts and theater, a gallery for exhibitions, workshops and bar! A really cool place to be creative!

  Was ist das?
• 

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Travelers will get to know a group of young productive creatives increasing their self network! To interact with local population, know the region, learn the language. Also have pottery workshop as well as to know and collaborate on the managing process of of our project.

• 

  Arbeit

  We would like to welcome travelers who might help us on building and painting walls. Also to participate in event production such as creative markets (e.g.: buiding small structures to decorate a square where the market happens, set the tables for creatives to sell their works / if there's a market schedulled in the dates of the staiyng) or small concerts production (e.g.: set decoration of the stage, no heavy or electric stuff, cleaning of the concert room before and after the concert, welcoming the audience)

  Unterkunft

  Room in the artists residence of Caldas da Rainha! A house in the middle of 4 museums and sided with the marvelous park D. Carlos I and daily fruit market! Meals can be made at the residence (kitchen fully equipped) or local restaurant. No fees are required.
  We will not be able to provide meals to workawayers.
