Beschreibung
7 hectar land with 3 small houses and 1 Tinyhouse. 1 house is occupied with a family with 4 children (1,6,9 and 11 years old girls). 1 house is occupied a woman (48 years old) who is selling natural medicine/cosmetics, In the Tinyhouse are living guests, who are helping me on the land. I live in clay house, having also a guest room used by guests, friends and family (mainly my children Sophie and Frederik).

Travellers could practise the English, German and Portuguese language, also see how to live in a organic farm in the country side with Solar Energy PV, Solar Thermal Energy and water irrigation system from our own dam for gardening and daylife use. We have just finished an antiseptic tank to clean grey water with plants and using this treated water again for the trees. The next portuguese village is ca. 2 km away. You can meet also a lot of surfers in several beaches, like Zavial, Amado or Casteleijo (all ca. 6 -10 km away from us), also Lagos and Sagres are closed by (ca. 20 minutes driving), a big Yoga and Music scene is close by too. Sometimes we have a car for your use (under certain conditions) .

Arbeit
I would love to develop my organic garden. Also I will need help to maintain my houses with painting and wood works. Also we need support for feeding the sheep and chickens.
We planted many fruit trees and planning to plant more. The next project will be to finish the dry toilet and the garden house with clay briggs and clay plaster. As well we want to expand our garden. As we have a lot of experience with workawayers, we prefer to host couples (30+) or friend couples (30+), in case workawayer are bringing professional skills, we can discuss also a stay for younger people. -

Unterkunft
We are living close to Barao Sao Miguel and Budens. We offer a guest room, sometimes a complete house with all you need, kitchen, bathroom, central wall heating/cooling, as well we could offer a seperate place with a dry toilet for a camper van.

I run a small solar company since 26 years in the South of Portugal. We are taking care for 8 hectar land with a dam of 3 Mio Liters of water. We got chicken and cheep. Our goal is to develop the land and especially the organic garden and to plant more trees if there is enough rain in the winter season.
I am always happy to receive some know how regarding gardening, I am still a newcomer. There are also many other things to do, like painting, building, repairing, and not to forget a good live in the nature .... -
