  Beschreibung

  We are a family of five persons. We love our garden and the place of our house. It is very nice to live outside of Berlin but to be close to two great cities like Potsdam and Berlin where you can do and find everything. It is easy to go to Berlin or Potsdam by public transport. Our village offers also many opportunities, there is a lot of nature and very nice options for spending your freetime (for ex. public pool inside and outside, bouldering, nowling, painting ceramics, bike tours, horse riding, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets).
  One of our children goes still to school and the other two go to University and all our three children live here with us. Our daughter was already travelling with workaway - so we know the concept and would also like to offer it for other young people who also like to travel and get to know other cultures. We are very interested in other countries and cultures.
  Our garden has different zones. You can enjoy the sun, have a bath in our small pool and we are developping a "Waldgarten"/permaculture garden.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We love to play games (Uno, Solo, Siedler von Catan) and you can take part. We like to get to know new games and we also play sometimes games in our garden like table tennis, badminton, viking chess.... We like to cook and try new recipes, so we could sometimes cook together. If you are interested in cultural life you can join us visiting them.
  We don't have a lot of time but we can spend a few evenings per week together if you like.
  We can teach you German and explain what you are interested to know in in our house and garden. We can give you recommendations about interesting things to do in Potsdam, Berlin and our village. We speak English, French, Italian, a little bit of Spanish, Norvegian and Danish. It will probably held at the beginning to understand each other :-).

  Arbeit

  We started our "essbarer Waldgarten" (eatable garden)/permaculture-garden-project two years ago. We have space for two workawayers (but you should know each other - it is one accommodation). The plants are planted but there is still a lot to do for the plantcare. The zone of the permaculture-garden has approx. 800sqm. We love to create this waldgarten-zone in our garden. We already see that the plants grow and it is a lovely and quiet place and we already start harvesting. We can talk and find out what you like so that there is also a part of the tasks where you can choose :-). If you are interested we can explain what you would like to know about the garden.
  There is to do (that you have an idea):
  - to care about the plants
  - remove the grass between the plants
  - chopping
  - mulching
  - keep the planting holes free from grass
  - planting
  - harvest fruits
  - mowing the lawn
  - different help in the garden
  - if you like cooking you can also choose to prepare a meal
  - if you like you could also do the food buying
  - sometimes help with housework in the house

  Unterkunft

  We offer a lovely old "Büssing" Bus. It is like a campingcar with everything you need. It is in our garden close to our house. You can see the bus at the fotos. The bus is only for our workawayers - this is where you stay / sleep. It is possible to stay there with one or two persons (but you should know each other (there are not two separated rooms).
  
  You can choose at which time you eat breakfast and lunch because we are not all at the same time at home for lunch /during the day. Of course you get three meals a day :-). In the evening we will cook for you and we can see how we organize us.

  Dante (10 Jahren)

  We have four very nice dogs and they are part of our family and live with us in our house. Three of them are standard poodle and very cute and calm. We also have a pomeranian - she is our coach potato. She is also very cute but a little bit afraid so she sometimes barks. But you stay calm in your "bus".
  We also have two very old senior cats - usually they are sleeping and like to stay together (see at the photo).
