  Hi, we are Valeria (32 years old) and Stefano (42 years old) and we have decided to have our first experience as hosts. We are a fairly large family: besides the two of us, there are Emma, Giulia, Vittoria, and our pets, the cat Peter and the dog Max.
  The girls are respectively 10, 7, and 5 years old. We live in the outskirts of Genoa, in the countryside about 25 minutes by bus from the city center and the sea. Our house is quite large, yet comfortable to accommodate one person. Recently, in fact, we bought the small apartment next to our house, connected to the ground floor, which will be able to accommodate a single room and a private bathroom for the person who chooses to help us. We would need help at home and with the girls from the second week of July until the return to school, so until the end of August/first week of September. It is not required that one person covers this entire period (9 weeks) but we require at least a continuity of 4 weeks. This is for a simple organizational and adaptation matter.
  What we are looking for is someone who can take care of the girls and help keep the house in order when we are at work. I am a healthcare worker and my husband is a worker. Often my dad, the girls' grandfather, and his partner help us manage the children when we are in difficulty. They live near our house and are a support for any eventuality. A availability of 5 hours a day of work 5/7 is required with the possibility of working even on weekends because my husband and I work shifts so we sometimes work on weekends. In exchange, we offer independent accommodation (house on three floors connected to the ground floor), the place is in a small village in the countryside.
  There are public transport every 25 minutes. We will certainly provide our helper with everything needed to eat well, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Usually, my husband or I enjoy cooking, but if the person wanted to cook just for themselves or cook for everyone, that would be fine too. In our home during the summer, we also have a garden where we set up a pool that the girls love to use. In addition to this, the person who decides to help us can also, if they want, take them to the sea or by public transport or perhaps accompanied by us in the car. Often in the summer, we go to Quinto, which is a seaside town where we have a warehouse and a large terrace. Our pets are very free; they live both indoors and in the garden and do not need to be taken outside. My husband and I have basic English, which we study at school, so to make this experience better, we have also enlisted my sister Eleonora who will help me also in the knowledge phase to have a chat before deciding if we can do for you. We are definitely willing to learn some English and teach you Italian, not through dedicated lessons but simply by spending time together.

  Arbeit

  We require assistance for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, including weekends. The job involves caring for the children and ensuring they have quality outdoor time (taking them to the seaside, swimming pool, horseback riding, cinema, or out for ice cream, etc.). Caring for the children is demanding, so we don't require cleaning the house, only helping us educate them to keep their own things tidy.If the children go out with mom and dad, you can decide whether to take the day off or do some helping at home. :)

  In your free time, you can visit Genoa and the beautiful Liguria region. We will be happy to help you organize your outings and excursions or recommend places to eat or have fun. The fastest means of transportation is definitely the scooter, car, or bus. We will also provide you with a mountain bike (Bavari and in general, the city of Genoa is not very suitable for biking because there are often uphill and downhill stretches, making it more strenuous). Our house is located in a small village where you will find a couple of bars, a restaurant, a grocery store, and a tobacco shop; for everything else, the city is 25 minutes away.
