Beschreibung
We are a couple living in the beautiful Mindeltal in Bavaria. Our garden is an important part of our daily life – we grow traditional varieties of vegetables, potatoes, herbs, as well as some fruit trees and berry bushes.
We also have a few animals: an old goat, ducks, chickens and four cats (please note: the cats also live inside the house, so this might not be suitable for people with allergies).
We enjoy sharing our way of life with others and are interested in cultural exchange. We like cooking together, especially with ingredients from our garden, and are happy to show you some Bavarian dishes and simple traditional skills like making herbal salves or soap. -

You can learn about growing your own food, using herbs, and preparing simple homemade products. We enjoy sharing meals and experiences and learning about other cultures and languages.

Arbeit
We are looking for help with everyday tasks in the garden and with the animals. This includes simple and varied activities such as feeding the animals, light cleaning of the enclosures, harvesting fruits and vegetables, and general garden care.
There are also occasional small indoor projects like painting or light DIY help.
We usually work together and explain all tasks. Sometimes we might be away for a short time, but responsibilities will always be discussed in advance and kept simple.
We expect around 4–5 hours of help per day, 5 days a week, leaving you plenty of free time to explore the area.. -

Unterkunft
You will stay in a room in our house single bed 120 × 200 cm bed (small double) or sofa bed 120 x190 cm with shared bathroom and internet access.

Our meals are simple, fresh and mostly based on what we grow ourselves: vegetables, fruits, eggs, milk and cheese, and occasionally meat.
We live in a quiet rural area. The nearest train station is Pfaffenhausen (about 2 km), and we can pick you up from there.
In your free time, you can enjoy nature, go for walks or explore the surrounding Bavarian countryside.
We are a non-smoking household. -
