Beschreibung
I am a carpenter who came to this beautiful piece of land 20 years ago. Starting with a pocket knife and living in a van I slowly made this my home moving from the Nomad life into something more stable. Having created everything by my own I can now in my 40s enjoy the fruits of my creation aswell as live a lifestyle I always dreamt of as a child:)
Except the gas for the cooking we live completely off the grid.
We have chicken a dog and a cat.
Also we have a little vegetable garden that holds seasonal plants and of course requires permanent attention.
There is also a small carpentry workshop on the land where I earn my daily bread.
There are always projects happening on a plot like this besides the general maintenance.
We are situated near a small village. Walking distance approx. 10--15 minutes
and about 4 km from the nearest beach.

The south west algarve is a unique and beautiful place.
There are several beaches to explore and the winters here are mild and mostly sunny.
We live completely off-grid which brings a few challenges, but over the years we have established everything for our needs.
As I am a trained and skilled carpenter, working in this trade for 20 years now you might be able to also pick up a few tricks and hints when it comes to woodworking.
Off course I am also always interested in picking up new ideas and approaches to projects no matter what kind.
I love to learn myself.

There are no special skills required except that of friendliness.
Basically any helping hand is welcome.
Seasonal help in the veggie garden, collecting fruits and pruning trees are just some of the things we permanetly need help with.
Besides that there are always projects happening to maintain this land.
There are always smaller or bigger projects to help out on.

Unterkunft
We provide a caravan with an outside kitchen for the accomodation of workawayers. It is a little secluded space where one can kick back and relax.
Campervans are welcome too, as we have a beautiful space to camp or park on a carrob tree field. An outside shower and a compost toilet are part of that space.

He was a great help in all aspects of this countryside lifestyle. He installed a whole solar-light system in the workawayer accomodation and additionally to that the water and pump system that will in the future supply the outside kitchen and shower.
