  🌱 Welcome to a living experiment in regeneration, culture, and deep connection with the Earth! 🌿
  
  We’re at the beginning of creating a space that integrates nature, technology, spirituality, and community. This is not a “finished” place – it’s a conceptual dream slowly taking shape, and you’re invited to help co-create it with us.
  
  📍 Located in Frederico Westphalen, Brazil, our site is being transformed into a center for sustainable living and learning: agroforestry, bioconstruction, sacred trails, regenerative technology, healing spaces, and, in the future, an ecological co-living village.
  
  ✨ We’re looking for dreamers and doers who are excited to be part of something from the ground up. Tasks may include:
  
  Gardening, agroforestry, and working with the land 🌾
  
  Helping with natural building and small workshops 🛠️
  
  Preparing nature trails and forest areas 🚶‍♀️🌳
  
  Communication, social media, and creative expression 🎨
  
  Cultural exchange, spiritual connection, and bonfire gatherings 🔥
  
  🎯 No experience required – just a genuine willingness to help and learn. Life here is simple, calm, and in tune with the rhythms of nature. We respect the organic timing of all creation.

  A Glimpse into the History and Identity of Our Region
  The region where the place is located — along with many other communities in northern Rio Grande do Sul — has a deep and fascinating history. What many refer to as "colonization" began around 150 years ago, with the arrival of Italian and German immigrants, who left strong cultural, architectural, and agricultural legacies. However, this land had already been inhabited for millennia.
  
  Archaeological findings in the municipalities of Alpestre and Iraí reveal evidence of human presence dating back approximately 12,000 years. Today, indigenous presence remains alive and significant: more than 50,000 hectares of indigenous land are spread across Iraí, Nonoai, Alpestre, and Derrubadas, home to over 12,000 Kaingang people, one of the region's original ethnic groups.
  
  The cities in this region were born through a mix of chance and necessity. Frederico Westphalen, for example, was originally called Barril (Barrel). According to local stories, a barrel once fell off a cart along one of the trails used by settlers traveling toward Palmeira das Missões. The broken barrel was turned into a watering point, which soon became a local reference. A small settlement developed around it — and that spot, today, lies just 1.8 km from the place.
  
  The origin of Iraí is equally unique and symbolic. During wartime, young men fleeing forced enlistment sought refuge deep in the forest. Far from Palmeira das Missões, they discovered a special place where two clean, fresh rivers met and formed a warm, slightly salty lake, with a natural temperature of around 39 °C (102 °F). They noticed that animals instinctively came to drink from these waters, and so they camped nearby, taking advantage of the abundant wildlife and the unusual energy of the site.
  
  Eventually, a wooden bathhouse complex was built to harness the so-called "miraculous waters." Between the 1920s and 1950s, the town flourished with hotels and casinos, becoming a popular tourist destination. However, the ban on gambling and a lack of sound public management led to the town’s decline. Today, although the bathhouse has been rebuilt in concrete, the thermal waters remain a key attraction of Iraí.
  
  Another highlight in the region is Ametista do Sul, where underground gallery mines were used for decades to extract amethyst crystals. Today, these old mines have been creatively transformed into tourist attractions — hosting restaurants, shops, and even underground chapels — offering a unique blend of nature, history, and ingenuity.

Nosso propósito é cultivar um modelo de vida mais simples, consciente e conectado, que una saberes ancestrais e inovações sustentáveis.
  
  📍 Localizado na região de Frederico Westphalen, RS, o sítio está sendo lentamente transformado em um centro de vivência, com agrofloresta, bioconstrução, trilhas, espaços de cura e meditação, tecnologias regenerativas e, futuramente, um condomínio ecológico multifamiliar.
  
  ✨ Buscamos voluntários sonhadores e proativos, que queiram fazer parte dessa jornada desde o início – ajudando com tarefas como:

  🎯 Não é necessário experiência prévia, apenas disposição em contribuir e aprender com o que está nascendo aqui. A vida no sítio é simples, integrada com a natureza, e o ritmo é tranquilo – respeitamos os processos naturais de tudo o que construímos.
  
  🌍 Este não é apenas um local físico, mas um experimento social e ecológico em construção. Convidamos você a caminhar ao nosso lado, ajudar a plantar as bases desse sonho e deixar um pedaço de si nesse solo.

  Um pouco da história e identidade da nossa região
  A região onde o local está localizado — assim como muitas outras comunidades do norte do Rio Grande do Sul — tem uma história profunda e fascinante. O que muitos chamam de "colonização" começou há cerca de 150 anos, com a chegada de imigrantes italianos e alemães, que deixaram fortes legados culturais, arquitetônicos e agrícolas. No entanto, esta terra já era habitada há milênios.
  
  Vestígios arqueológicos encontrados nos municípios de Alpestre e Iraí revelam a presença humana na região há aproximadamente 12.000 anos. Hoje, a presença indígena permanece viva e significativa: são mais de 50 mil hectares de terras indígenas, espalhadas pelos municípios de Iraí, Nonoai, Alpestre e Derrubadas, habitadas por cerca de 12 mil Kaingangs, um dos povos originários da região.
  
  As cidades, como tantas no interior do Brasil, surgiram de encontros entre o acaso e a necessidade. Frederico Westphalen, por exemplo, nasceu com o curioso nome de Barril. Conta-se que, em uma das trilhas utilizadas pelos colonos que se dirigiam a Palmeira das Missões, um barril caiu de uma carroça e se quebrou. Usaram-no então para fazer um bebedouro — e aquele ponto passou a ser referência, dando origem a uma pequena localidade. Um pequeno assentamento se desenvolveu ao redor dele — e esse local, hoje, fica a apenas 1,8 km do local.
  
  Já o município de Iraí tem origem marcada por uma história inusitada e simbólica. Durante os tempos de guerra, jovens fugindo do recrutamento se embrenharam na mata para escapar da convocação. Longe de Palmeira das Missões, encontraram um lugar singular: dois rios de águas limpas e frescas que se uniam e formavam um lago de água salobra e quente, com temperatura natural em torno de 39 °C. Perceberam que todos os animais iam até ali para beber daquela água. Estabeleceram então um acampamento nas proximidades, pela abundância de caça e pela energia peculiar do local.
  
  Com o tempo, ali se construiu um complexo balneário em madeira para aproveitar as chamadas “águas milagrosas”. Posteriormente, nos anos 1920 a 1950, a cidade cresceu com hotéis e cassinos, tornando-se um destino turístico popular. No entanto, a proibição dos jogos e a ausência de boa gestão pública levaram a uma decadência parcial. Hoje, embora o balneário tenha sido reconstruído em concreto, as águas termais seguem como um atrativo natural marcante de Iraí.
  
  Outro ponto de destaque regional é Ametista do Sul, onde existem minas subterrâneas em forma de galerias, utilizadas por muitos anos para a extração de cristais de ametista. Atualmente, essas minas foram transformadas em pontos turísticos, abrigando restaurantes, lojas e até capelas subterrâneas, criando um ambiente único que mistura natureza, história e criatividade.

  Before pandemy we used to have events like shammanic weekend, reiki degree, hipnosis, yoga class etc...Now we are more on the path of having people and interacting with them deeply in order to create a singular process for every volunteer we have, its very good to see people going home with a better perspective of the world and leaving us also with a deep understandment of other places and cultures.

  Antes da pandemia, tínhamos eventos como fim de semana xamânico, grau de reiki, hipnose, aula de ioga, etc ... Agora estamos mais no caminho de ter pessoas e interagir com elas profundamente, a fim de criar um processo único para cada voluntário que temos, é muito bom ver as pessoas voltando para casa com uma perspectiva melhor do mundo e também possibilitando-nos termos uma nova perspectiva cultural que a mesma traz consigo.

  We basically need help with the maintenance of the house and dogs, as well as the gardens and outdoor areas.
  I have been working in the city, and it has been quite difficult to give the necessary attention to the space without volunteers, the tasks would be quite basic at first and according to the volunteer's interest and will we can include more complex activities and specific courses from those listed above.

  Precisamos de ajuda basicamente na manutenção da casa e dos dogs, assim como dos jardins e das áreas externas.
  Tenho trabalhado na cidade, e tem sido bastante dificultoso dar a atenção necessária ao espaço sem voluntários, as tarefas seriam bastante básicas a principio e conforme o interesse e vontade do voluntario podemos incluir atividades mais complexas e cursos específicos dos listados a cima.
