  In summer 2022 our son was born. We live in a multicultural district of Antwerp city. We like our city garden, but whenever possible we spend the weekend at our little forest in the countryside.
  
  I had a good time travelling with Workaway, so I hope as I host I can give you an equally great experience.

  We are a mixed couple: ethnic Belgian and ethnic Russian. We can explain you specific Belgian or Western-European culture on the one hand, but you'll love some Russian cuisine and habits. We have slippers so you can take your shoes of in the house. We are open minded and welcoming to all. We'd be interested to get to know you and your traditions.

  Arbeit

  I'm planning to build a shed, so any help there would be welcome. If you have experience with masonry, that would be great. But if you don't, there is enough other things you can help with in the forest or in Antwerp.

  Unterkunft

  In Antwerp you'd have your own bedroom. We have all modern conveniences in our house (shared).
  In the forest (if temperatures allow), you would be camping. We have all camping equipment for you, so you can sleep very comfortably. We'd get back to Antwerpen every 2nd day for a shower, since there are no modern conveniences in the forest besides good cellphone reach (4G).

  Was noch ...

  Antwerp itself is a vibrant city. We are only a short train ride away from Brussels, Bruges, Ghent, Amsterdam.
  
  Besides trains, we advise using one of our bicycles to get around. Depending on your cycling experience, we can advise you where to go.
